Unforunately, the tour this year is not one of those things that are planned. =( As I told slipkid earlier, though, I already have it on the calendar or next year. Assuming Al and Miles haven't kicked me off the board by then. ;)

Miles- I called trying to book the room with 2 double beds and the rate is $20 more ($119). I spoke with the manager (Ronnie), and those rooms, apparantly, are quite large and she said they can't give them out at the same rate. If you made the original arrangements with someone else, perhaps they aren't all on the same page over there, and need to be. Doesn't matter much to me, there is a pull out couch in the regular rooms, so we're sticking with that...but I thought I should let other OFC members know if they were planning to share rooms. My wife is expecting and has been feeling absolutely miserable for about 2 months now. I'm not sure that she will be up for going. I know that she would go even if she felt miserable just so I could go, but I can't let her do that. I also don't think it's right to leave her home alone right now. I made my hotel reservations a long time ago. I'll just wait and see how she feels in the next few weeks.

With all due respect for my friends in CA, it bugs me that CA seperates me form the ocean. I guess once enough of it slides away, I'll be sitting pretty. Although I'll miss the thong bikini's and big breasts.

We're only talking a few hundred bucks for a mini vacation. It comes down to logistics, bus schedule, how close the bus comes to the hotel, etc. I could drive down I guess, but just thinking about it makes my eyes itch. Whine whine whine... I know... I'm thinking about it. I'd hate to miss the opportunity to see the factory.

This year I am stuck with an '88 Tercel that my grandson worked on in a shop class at Mayfield High and his mother (my daughter) bought for him at age 15, which he snuck out and tore down a neighbors fence because he didn't know how to drive a stick shift. I ended up with it because my Iraq veteran paratrooper grandson bought it to relieve his aunt's problems and parked it in my yard. It has a hot 1200 cc 12 valve engine and is basic CAR, standard shift, cheap radio etc, The school rebuilt the engine and trannie, brakes etc, but run out of money for the air conditioner which I am fixing. It is basic SMALL car enough room for me and not much more. I am on my way!! Bailey
