Location: Boise, Idaho		I was in college at Kansas State when my roommate went to see them at a high school auditorium for something like $2. I didn't want to pay $2 for some band I never heard of. He came back and said they were really good and had a cool violin player. I predicted they'd never be popular with a violin player.

Not only "the Player", but probably "the Catalyst" for Ovations success. Not only was Glen the first to get Ovation out in front of America in a weekly hour-long commercial, but he was also instrumental  in pushing R&D to develop the acoustic electric. Additionally, the artist bowl was designed for Glen. 

I would imagine that "the Player" was "the Reason" a lot of us, and others, had to have one. Charlie and Glen...probably as close to a perfect storm as you could get, in terms of timing.

Location: When??		I can't locate the pictures I've seen before of David Koresh playing Ovations, but a teeny-tiny little fraction of the black smoke we saw coming from the Branch Davidian compound in Waco was from burning Lyrachord.
