That's great, Jeff. I look forward to meeting you, since I've never met an OFCer I didn't like. Even if I can't play any of your lefty guitars.

BTW: I spoke with tha infamous(?) TRboy and (since he can't get tha mice to run fast enough to power his 300 Baud modem) he asked (sorta) if I would reply for him. He will be comin with me and tha Jas Man to tha g8rfest.....maybe. Somethin about a Mando that isn't finished yet, or he is startin ta build a Banjo...Oh, well, I think he's a comin with us.

All right, so we have:

Definite - DesignZilla, Jeff from Central Florida, Trader Jim, BegginJim, Captain_Lovehandles and TRBoy.

Possibles - Gway, Crimson Lake and Mauvais Beal

Anybody else? I know there's a couple more Floridians here, how 'bout a short drive up for a day (or 2 or 3) of good music, great food, lotsa fun, and much drooling over some seriously nice guitars?

Looking forward to it!

So Saturday is the big day? Afternoon to evening. Wonder if I can get the Mercedes through Stark, Lawty and Waldo without a fine driving award?

Directions sent by PM/email to all definites. What guitars are y'all bringing? Please bring guitar stands, too, for the obligatory "family" portrait. I have 1 extra guitar stand and 1 music stand (to hold the songbook), so if you have music stands those might be helpful, too. Bring healthy appetites as well!

Thanks for the directions Serge. I'm bringing the 47RI and the 1538. And 3 guitar stands.

Request - Jas bring the Reso. That was fun!

I'll plan to bring the reso, unless Beal says he's coming and wants to bring a National... that would be REAL fun!

Don't know just what I'm bringing yet. Maybe the 1758, the FD and the 97 collectors. I've only got one stand tho, I'll try to borrow a couple.

Just making sure you folks saw this, if you're coming in late.

My Southern Style songbook is overstuffed. I'll be taking out the uke stuff that I had in the back, and some songs that we never did or will do to make room. I need to file in some of the sheets that Dzilla gave us, and these new ones, plus Fogelberg... So the Table of Contents is shot.

Cap'n - do we want to just print/copy a new songbook & TOC? I can do that, if you send me your Fogelberg sheets. I don't remember which sheets DZ gave us & which ones TRBoy brought down (I think the latter are the ones without chords since he's the master transposer :p ).
