Now I'm waiting for Meuti, because we will do something together, may be an "Äppelwoi un'Handkäs"-tour, or what else is really funny. Let's wait until aug. 13th, then he'll be back, ok? Bernie

Not as cool as a certificate saying it was flown on a Combat Mission as I'd intended initialy, but still cool. As an aside, we MIGHT be going to Afganistan in late 2011 or early 2012, it might get a shot at a Combat Mission flight anyway :)

We've had great weather, a lot of fun and so we visited an old castle, named "SOONECK". Here are some pics: http://ovationfanclub.ning.com/photo/albums/booktour-1 Bernie

I really should have stolen some of your terrific Os ;) The book is now in Hanau. I will need a couple of days to read it, then it will be ready to continue it's traveling. Who's next? Bonecrusha? Would be my pleasure to send it to you, big man

Aside from some shots with it around the Helicopters, I plan on taking it up to Cades Cove in Townsend for some really pretty scenery pics.

Joined: November 2002 Posts: 3611 Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | It would be nice to make stop in Ireland, but Michael has been waiting patiently. Maybe something can be worked out. I'm the instigator of this adventure, not the commissioner. Yeah, The Book at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.....that would be cool! It seems the itinerary needs to accomodate a revised timeframe- not necessarily a bad outcome!!

Sycamore, conact Meuti and ask him to send it to you next, it can come to me afterwards, no sweat. Do it soon though, I'm not sure when he was planning on sending to me....

Now I will take it to the Brothers Grimm Statue here in Hanau (the town where they were born), take a pic and pass it on to anyone who's next ;) It is a fascinating book by the way... I loved reading it.
