My PA has 8 channels and I have mics (4 or 5) and probably as many stands...and yes a few can plug in but not everybody at once...it would limit the number playing at the same time...seems like a lot of unnecessary stuff if it won't work for everyone...I'll do whatever the majority wants, but... Why don't we just go Acoustic? No amps/No PA? We don't have a PA set up in the hotel lobby for the tour...and it sounds great, and everyone that wants to participate can do so!

That means that sum o' ya can bring more gits! :D Seriously, if ya have a two prong power cord on your equipment, all is well. If you have a three prong, I can check out the power grounding prior to ya'll pluggin' in with a 3-2 adapter. BTW, I won't be bringing my gen set; not enough truck room and the 'cane season isn't over until December!

Plugging-in 6 or 8 guitars (that'll - for the most part - all be playing the SAME thing) will just create a "wash" that's gonna' drown everything else out . . . As to Beals thought about the rumor of being able to plug an Ovation in: I can happily declare that for some Ovations: it's true! Who wudda thunk it? All I can say is: ROAD TRIP!!!!!!! :D
