Location: south east Michigan | It looks like we have enough fantastic photos to make a go of it for this year.
We have spanned the globe. France, Hawaii, Tasmania, and even that place where Jeff W. lives.
Now the trick will be reaching the sales goal of 50 calendars. I don't know what the cut off date for orders will be, but Steve & I are looking to wrap this up sooner than we did last year.
We might be missing the standard December "Christmas" shot. Maybe I'll see if they'll let me take some guitars into the local Christmas tree store. I think they are already setting up their displays. |

How about putting an auction on Ebay. Seems like last year the last one or two went on Ebay for quite a bit. Put up an open auction for say $40, 10 available. See what happens. |

Location: south east Michigan | Like last year, I am planning on putting the very last one up on e-bay. But you got me thinking. I feel like there is a conflict somewhere but I just have not thought it out yet.
Now if any of you have contact with some of our mysterious, "under the radar" type members, (ie. trawler & spider) I'd like to accomodate them. |

Your probably right Dave. Maybe we will pick up some potential buyers who search on "Ovation".
I would need to make it very clear that these things would not ship until December. I have a perfect e-bay feedback record and I don't want some yahoo to mess it up. As of now I'm about 80% sure I'll try it. Any other thoughts, folks??? |

Printing a limited run like this is not cheap. I don't want to end up with dead, extra inventory when that money could have gone to the OFC upkeep fund.
BTW...just between you & me, I think we'll meet the sales goal. No panic..... (yet). |

We have not set an order deadline yet.
But we do want to get it done sooner than last year.

That makes 25.
Steve is starting the creative process. When he is ready, it will be time to go into production. I don't yet know exactly when that will be. Last year we took orders up to mid November. I expect we might be 4 weeks earlier this year.

I was in my local big-chain drug store (Walgreens / CVS / Rite-Aid / etc.).... and I saw that they make up custom calendars. Their price is $29.99 and the end product is nowhere near the quality that Designzilla comes up with. These OFC calendars look as good as any you can find at the local bookstore.

Previous buyers and new members.... If you want one, please get your order in. I'd like to see us reach the goal of 50 calendars. Last year I think we sold about 65. |
