Naw, I've had sound guys that didn't need to be away from the board in order to be aatw.

I'm definately getting two, possibly 3.

1. 1777LX-4 (FRG) - too good of a deal to pass up.
2. Finishing the StewMac 000 12-fret kit I got back in March for my birthday. It has been a slow process, but think it will sound nice. Hopefully looks will be deceiving.

Santa pulled up in a brown truck yesterday and handed me my Christmas present personally. Master of disguise, that guy. Looked exactly like a UPS driver!

Couldn't leave it under the tree...

That Santa...how does he know???

:) :D :)

Filed under "The Season For Giving". Just got the OHSC from bauerhillboy. Frankly, my 1615 is not worthy of occupying that case. I am feeling totally larcenous. I hope Santa isn't tapping into my modem, and readjusting his list.
I am humbled, and warmed, by John's generosity.
Alles, Frohliche Weinachten!

So as long as you're feeling all warm, Chris, how about sharing Greg's Adamas? You pay for it and I'll pick it up in time for Christmas. I'll drop it off the next time I'm in Yakima. I get up there every couple years.

Most gracious of you, but there's a small glitch- I'm not able to finance that magnificent critter, at this juncture. I will be tracking its sale closely, and if the New Year portends improved affluence, maybe then.....
The OHSC beats a lump of coal, easily.

I'm trading my POD 2.0,(which some people rave about, and power to them, but I didn't like it) for a Yamaha Acoustic Magic Stomp. I'll give report after I've veted it.

I bought myself a 1621-4 for Christmas! Used my Christmas bonus, which I haven't gotten yet. But I've spent it already! Whacha think?

Ditto what Dave said. I bought a 1121 in late 1972 and always regretted selling it in 1978. You'll enjoy this guitar.

Old Man Arthur,
You scored a good one.

Well, I got my magicstomp, tested it, and the wall wart started to smoke. Frack. So now I'm left with about $150 for x-mass goodies for myself. I hated the Zoom Unit, the POD 2.0 was a pain, the yamaha smoked ....

I guess I'll buy some tab and books, maybe take the wife to see Apocalypto for christmas.

Understood. Edited to protect the children, but not the followers of battlestar gallactica.

FYI:

The smoking wall wart caused my clerk to come in and ask, "what's going on here!?" I felt like I got busted. Damn. I mean Frack. Note to self: Don't test gear in office.

So that means . . .

. . . that in the 23rd Century we won't be able to type the word "frack"??

This Time/Space Continuum-thing is a frackin' pain in the ort . . .

I won't be getting one, but will be giving one--a Celebrity, NOS, to my son.
