I'm catching the Tuesday night redeye so will be arriving on the island around 8:00 - 9:00 am Wednesday morning.

Think the owner will let us check in early if the room is available or will we have to camp out in the lobby or on the porch?

I'll be getting in about 11 / 11:30-ish.

If we're early we can just sit on the corner, open up the guitar cases and see if we can catch enough cash to pay for dinner. Or maybe make bail.

Good, you guys will have everything ready by the time I get there. About 4-5 depending on whether the road crew is punctual at JAX.

Tell Joe you're getting in early, I'm sure they can make some sort of accomodations.

I would have thought for sure by now somebody would be having fun with the crab comment.

Bill, we can be civilized on occasion.

I leave crablike comments to those such as Jeff and Cliff who have had first hand experience.

...or you didn't let the crab 'age' long enough. And you probably used the wrong mushrooms.

Best Ball is my game! (thats Golf talk!) Jesus you guys are perverted. I have no game off the fairway with irons?? infact I plan to have a set of woods made for me as I can snap a ball up with my 5 wood better than a 9 iron. I have a drive that is usually the "Best Ball" but that's it the rest of my game is for crap! I am below average on the greens as well. Somehow I got real good at hitting the green from a sand trap though?? Go figure.
Wish I could make the trip, I want to meet all of you guys, oddly enough the only person I have met from this forum is Kim.... that went well enough so I am willing to take a chance on the rest of you idiots!

I've tried to do that! You actually can and it is the funnyiest thing to see when it is done right!
Hey I am a hacker, if I can't have fun playing why would I bother to go at all. Right? I don't have time to improve my game, I am trying to figure out these dam guitars in my free time! And I hav'nt got all that much free time anymore.

Forgot about this movie.......I always was partial to "Tin Cup" myself.

Buying golf clubs can be worse than buying guitars. When I picked the game back up after years of layoff, a guy gave me a "free" swing analysis and tried to sell me an offset driver to correct my slice. I told him I'd rather correct the problem with my swing and besides I had just paid $76 for these new clubs at a garage sale. I'm glad I didn't buy the offset clubs, because now I've fixed the slice. I can hook or slice at random. I am an amazing golfer--amazingly inconsistent. I wish we had driving ranges with covered tee boxes like they have over in Oregon. I'd be out spraying golf balls right now.

yeah, people do get into buying clubs. Never bit me. I still have the same set I've had for 15 years. Different drivers and wedges but the same clubs

"We're very sorry Mr. Doenges but we can't seem to fit your valuable slothead guitar into the coat closet. It'll have to get checked and go in the luggage hold. Looks like the coat closet has already been claimed by a ukulele."

If my geography of the boeing 737 is correct, I am three rows closer to the bathroom than Cliff is.
