Don't know where the thread for guitar songs went (maybe I should look for it) but the Addiction song (GAS) got me a second tonight. Had Davis and Pam play with me. The last two lines of the 4th verse got a standing Ovation, so to speak.
I need to start working on the Wind song. The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind. Been done though. That's probably one of the best wind songs ever done.

That one was pretty good too. I liked the part in the middle of the 12 string solo where the drummer switched from the cymbal to the hihat.
Bob Bruno, whatever happened to him.

And the extra point question, who was the guy in the band who left and became a big country star?

I've been away a little - sorry - the life of a high school principal. Well I'm chimin' in here..hey chimes go ding in the wind - someone steal that line...I got a great (bad) song written - but I'm catching the redeye on Wed night now - I'll start the bidding at a buck for dibs on my song - I am still getting in - in time for the OFC Amelia Island Almost Open...but no song writers contest for me...bummer. Here is the guitar song thread Beal...I dug a little but its hanging around on the second page - needed the titles for a student's project... http://www.ovationfanclub.com/cgi-bin/ubb/non-cgi/ultimatebb.php?ub...
Hey Beal - what time is Tee Off time? Professor and StephentT - you flying the redeye on Tuesday night? Colorado will be well- represented...I know where my clubs are...I gotta find my guitar though.

I have started mine...seems to be coming together: now that all my work is FINISHED ( :D ) for the past two semesters, I can find some time to devote to it.

And Jim, we'll have to schedule shower times I guess..."Improvise and Adapt" is the Marine Corps way...lol!

Stonebobbo, Wabbit, Cliff, and now the prolific songwriting journyman MusicMike. Then there are the "unknowns" that I've yet to meet. The think the Mermaid is in for quite a night.

I started with something bluesy, then it quickly turned into Raggae. If the composition competition is Wednesday, I'm out. I'll be on the same red eye with Mark. There may be a few others coming from the west who are also connecting on that flight.

Official protest: The song topic stinks.

I'm gonna have to come for a month. The previous weeks "SOMEDAY", "HARD LIFE", "BLONDE".

Now THOSE are topics I could write something about. WIND? WTF kind of topic is THAT ???
