AJ, I'm from the Bay Area originally, and there's an old saying:

The coldest winter I've ever spent, was the summer I spent in San Fransisco.

It's warm up north!

Actually they are pretty strict about 12:00noon to 12:00 midnight on the 4th. During that 12 hours it's like a war zone. But don't dare fire off one minute before or one minute after the hours designated.

Miles: I should be arriving in Mt. Vernon late afternoon Thursday. I'm in Portland and need to replace the rear shock on the bike. I'd much rather have another guitar for the same price. I'll call you about getting together Thursday evening.

Brad, I'm waving... see me?

If I was in town today, I'd meet up with you. Wednesday's my telecommuting day.
What part of town are you in?

Hey Professor... call my cell when you get close.. we're not going to be around until late on Thursday.

Blown shock is a bit of a pain, but at least it's a part that "feels" like your getting your money's worth when you get back on. It's those $200 little widgets I hate spending the money on. You know, those things you can't see, they look like they contain nothing, but yet the bike doesn't run without'em.

ride safe.

Brad, bad deal. at least it wasn't a catastrophic failure with the bike, just expensive. Got your message, will see you all soon.

I intend to bring some mistakes/projects and hope we can have some time for the BFLG to discuss the fine points of DIY Loothery.

I have a new Proto to share as well!

Funny how even the folks on the "Wet" side think all of Washington (Oregon) is damp. Don't forget that 2/3 of both States are desert.

New shock installed. $1,171. The part alone was $840 plus another $65 to overnight it from wherever. That's right up there in Adamas territory. Oh well. Had to be replaced in any event. Somebody brought a guitar over last evening so we had a mini concert. Great fun. Waskel, I'm staying in a neighborhood in the southwest part of Portland just a few miles north of Tigard. Call you tomorrow Miles.

That's a bummer, Brad.

You know what the least expensive part to replace is on a BMW?

How's the weather in Mt Vernon today? Thunderstorms here. I'm getting quite the light show in my glass tower today.

The Hi and Lo fronts are battling for space and we are in the Convergent Zone. It is supposed to get drier into the weekend and I forecast coll overcast mornings and warm dry evenings.

Warm enough that wearing socks with your sandles is still considered wrong...

That reminds me, I rode the elevator with Steve Poole last week here in the building.

I told him I wished I could get paid for being wrong half the time. I'm sure it wasn't the first time he's heard it though.

You are correct Sir!

I will be leaving the Celeb Bass on the wall but USPS just brought by the subject of my SAST Seminar titled "Who's afraid of Ebay".

I just took the tape off the case it came shipped in and was joyfully surprised. More later.

Hmmmm, he muses aloud....

....If we write and record a summer song this weekend as a PNW project, can we get it on the album?

I know guys, we're just so goal oriented. (except for my 'producer' who's on his way to Lethbridge right now while his computer is being rebuilt....)

..............................................
and will we have a fretless bass?
