Calling Waskel!! Moody needs a "Slim Slipkid" job done on his picture. Urgent!! If he doesn't respond soon it must be Wabbit season or a new crate of carrots.

Ok, time out on all the love and brotherhood stuff and take a look at the songbook again. Houston, we have a problem!

Paul,
I can teach you at least two more chords buddy! Maybe even a couple in the second or third position, maybe. Oh the humanity!

This guy doesn't need another guitar, he needs lessons - Stat!

Probably kept him afloat this far Cliffy!

I had to make sure it wasn't a knot tying manual at first.

I guess when you come down to it, it's not what you know but who you know!

Very nice PM!

I thought that was a Photoshop job at first, till I looked at the original picture. I only looked at the guitar the first time. How are you ever going to learn more than 3 chords Moody, if you have a book that thick with only 3 chords in it?

Don't need to Photoshop a picture when Moody puts his "Guitar Playing for Idiots" book right next to his guitar. I always thought he was kidding when he said he only knew 3 chords, but he's actually got a book on 3 chord arangements.
I was trying to figure which of the 3 he was playing in the pictures, but it didn't look like C, F or G to me, so it must not be a country western version of gospel music.

You can't judge a book by its cover.

Oh?

I'm sure it's his private joke. Maybe.

Lets not forget some great songs have only three chords in them. Just remember the money chords.

"Anything more than three chords and it's jazz" -- Lou Reed.

Of course, I doubt anyone's playing Sweet Jane in church ... except for the Rastafarians on the board.

Nothing we can say slandering Moody will wipe that smile off his face. I'm sure he's still loving the sound of all 3 chords. Maybe he'll learn a few more now, just to see how they sound on the 87.
The best part has to be a speechless wife. Mine would never believe that somebody would just send a guitar to me without getting money first. Although I did shut her up when she told me she just didn't get why I wanted a 1537 and I told her I didn't get why she had to have more than one piece of jewelry or new kitchen cabinets. I think she figured out that I could come up with a lot more examples. She was thrilled with her new kitchen cabinets, by the way. Maybe I'll go over to the kitchen cabinet fan club and see what they're doing.

Unfortunatly, the three chords I learned were Eb (at the third fret), Ab, and Bb. Thanks god for capos, but boy, is it high pitched when I play in the key of G.

According to Bruce, your finger slipped during one of your songs and you discovered a fourth chord!

Any truth to the rumor?

Gee, Stephen T, I was thinking about a Lowden for me...

but honestly, with the 1537, Uterus and Fud, it's like long lasting pepto...I gots no GAS. Honestly, there is so much guitar in these three, I have no desire to get another (though a certain unnamed OFC miscreant is dangling such things as Lowdens and Fyldes just beyond my nose...but that's not important.)

So...
I'm thinking why not send my wooden roundback (see "Opics") on a little, multiple stop, indefinite, round trip OFC tour???

You wanna be the first?

It ain't gonna win any sound awards, but it got me through SE Asia and it sure is unique...

Does anybody here have the original owners manual/paperwork from an 87 Collectors? I'd love to get a copy.
