Extraordinary Al.

My budget and priorities dictate that I will be part of the gallery that goes "Ooooh!", "Aaaaaahh!" as they walk past.

These will go into O history as the second wave of Slotheads.

I think this calls for a registry!

some of the confusion might be that there were six of the 12-strings, twelve of the OFC.

Top drawer Al!
A very special guitar for sure.
I hope to have one of that caliber someday.
But for the mean time, I'm very happy with my UTE.

What a spectacular guitar !

I'm certainly tempted but having bought a #47 RI and 30th Ann. 1687 last year I'm finding it hard to think up a believable story to tell the boss why I "need" it.

....well done Al, it's obviously been a labour of love

The boss and I will look at the pictures tonight. Then she'll decide if I need it. All I can think of is "spectacular."
Al, would you take a rare 91 BMW Mtechnic in trade?

All I can say is good luck Mark.

I only have 3 O's and I'm finding it hard to muster up a credible excuse !

Mark, we've posted about this before. I don't intend to bring the Mrs. into this decision if I can avoid it. That is one of the advantages of giving her everything she wants, never letting her see the bank statement, and ensuring that she is sufficiently preoccupied with her own interests so as to minimize the chance of her making a surprise visit to the band room. I also know how to use smoke and mirrors to disguise what she sees and to confuse her on the off chance that she might recognize something new. I also plan to use well rehearsed lies and deception. If all else fails, I'll get on my knees and beg forgiveness, then send her out shopping, just like I've done for the past 17 years.

Wow! That is beautiful. What a great bunch of extras. Is that a real vintage coricidin bottle slide??? I broke my last one about 20 years ago.

Magnifcent guitar!

Same wife for 30 years. Same job for 29. It seems to work OK for me, so why change? We disagree on where the money should be spent all the time, but we each get what we want eventually. I worry about finances, but hate dealing with them. She budgets, pays bills, and runs the house, besides working about half time. I'd probably never do any of that stuff. I would be a lot thinner because I wouldn't cook for myself. Works for me.

Man I knew this would be nice but I did not quite expect this! Love that Old School Blue! I will have to find my way to one of these, I just bought an Adamas 1 so I am already in so much trouble! all kinds of fire sales will be going on at my house this month!

Nice job there Ovation factory gentlemen and ladies. This one takes your breath away!

You know, I gotta say about the OFC guitar, that this is exactly what I was pushing for all along. It is almost exactly what I hoped for (like Dave with his Ute 12). Dreams really do come true.....

Al are these available only through you?? And do these come with the OFC inlay on them or is that something that we can have done at the factory or not as we wish? I did not see the OFC on the guitar is the photo. Sorry if this is info you have already mentioned. Those old threads are to hard to try and decipher.
Thanks, Nice job man! Never tought I'd see the factory build one of these slotheads like they have with the #47 and now with this one.

Randy
SOunds like they will build one with any color top you may want as well.

Al, It's not how hard you worked to get this done, it's how long you worked that hard. Most will never know.
Good job.
