I'm not to worried. I haven't met anyone from New York City or New Jersey that could find Idaho. You're welcome any time, too, Schroeder.
Speaking of lawyers and golf, did you hear that Johnny Carson got sued after he was interviewing a golf pro's wife? I think it was Arnold Palmer's. He asked what she did to help his game. She said she kept his balls warm because warm balls go farther. Johnny said, "Ooh! I bet that makes his putter stand up."
Across the pond, that would be acceptable TV.

Correct. Possibly a religious broadcast even. A helping hand along the way...

It may be apocryphal but I always loved the story from about 30 years back about the NFL linebacker who was asked live on tv whether he preferred grass or astroturf and replied that he'd never smoked astroturf.

He's just lived Out West long enough to figure out there must be something keeping Montana and Wyoming from touching Oregon and Washington. He's guessing such a thing would be called an "Idaho".

I'm sitting in the Hampton Inn in downtown Boise at this very freaking moment. So yes someone from New Jersey and New York DOES know where Idaho is. Well, actually I don't really know where it "is", I just know that I'm "in it" at this moment. Dave

PS Yes Mark I DO need to call you.

No time to call this week. All free time is devoted to working on the wind. Dave

I guess I should have said people who lived their whole lives in New York.
Yes, Dave. You do need to call. The Hampton is a block from my office. I guess I should have known you were here. We have crappy weather whenever you're in town.

A friend of SWMBO from grad school recently married. Her maiden name is Koch; she pronounced it with a long "o" to sound like "coke", but everyone else pronounced it to sound like another name for a rooster. She married a guy whose last name is Ho.

The wife's cousins' last name is King. Sure 'nuff, she goes to NYC, meets and marries a great guy named Burger.

A great time was had by all at the Burger King wedding.

Absolutely true.

I met a girl named Crispy Critter... Not surprising in the 70's...

But her birth name on her drivers' license was Krispin Lee Critter.
Blame the parents
