I cannot find your photo amongst those on that site...
So which Celeb did you get, and post some pics.

Oh... And Congratulations.

Gongrats Joe! ... I was just waiting for Gigi to wee-wee on the bed in the background. That would have been a hilarious ending to the video. (:

We STILL need about 50 more votes to move Gator up into second place on comments.

I don't care if Joe beats me out, I just want one of us to surpass the damn "Stairway to Heaven" entry. I can't abide the idea that some Guitar Center wannabe superboy would beat out actual guitar players. Almost as badly cliche as "Blackbird".

Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

OMA: it's the video, not a pic :-)

bvince: yeah, that was funny. I feel her licking my elbow in the middle of the song and I was thinking she ruined a take. Then I figured, what the heck. Maybe the puppy will get me more votes! LOL

G8r: Thanks! I feel the same, my friend. I hope it's one of us (and as a matter of friendly competition I hope it's the guy with the T top fixation ;-), and I would definitely take issue if the Stairway entry wins because the sound dies early on, so right away it violates the guidelines of the contest. He's probably got a lot of views because first of all it's "stairway" (I know, I know), and second of all he appears to be one of several instructors that's just linking from their website (there are quite a few doing that). I sincerely hope the Adamas comes home to one of us faithful O lovers who are playing our hearts out fair and square!

Oh! And it is RED! [I just had a CC24, but I traded for the CSE24]

And now I can play a new song (Same chords as "Tuesday's Gone")...
I just have to listen to the song to learn the words.

Oh, yeah! Not to mention So Lonely (Police), I'm Goin' Down (Springsteen), and D'yer Maker (Zeppelin), just to name a few with that progression off the top of my head :-)

Okay... ONE little video! And my First one at that!
It's still up there if you look real hard.

And it will be Forever enshrined in Cyberspace until that MegaVirus destroys the net. :p

I have been voting but am cornfused (not unusual for me). If I click on the picks it says I must log in to vote.
So I log in and click on the picks and it says thank you for rating this video.
If I go to view all and sort by most popular neither Joe or G8r shows up. If I sort by most views, there they be.
I can find no vote button anywhere so by rating the video - is that considered a vote???

I think you can see the status of the "views" and "comments", but they keep the rating info to themselves.
You just gotta think that we're doing good and maintain the pace.
For a while it looked like we would never get past that "stairway" guy.

Nice guitar, OMA!! I wish that video was in sync. And despite the aversion to STH, there's a lot of people who would love to play it in open chords. You could already be a winner. I'd vote for you.

Still needing about 50 more votes to get G8r into at least second place. Anyone getting bored today? It would be nice to see us nudge our guys into the top 2 places. The Ring of Fire guy is working really hard along with his guitar students to hold onto that lead.

I'm wondering if everyone knows you CAN vote for more than 1 person.

OK... I put one up there... STAIRWAY FOR DUMMIES!

It is probably too late for me to win anything, but comments are encouraged.
It is almost in sync and I have a shirt on! :p

There are only a few days left.
It will all be over on the 12th. (it's about damn time)
However... any daily votes you can put in for our OFC members might make the difference.

Way to go OMA. The shirt adds a real nice touch, too. Although I'm sure your comment count would be MUCH higher had you done it topless.

Hey! Did y'all know that you can vote for yourself?
And vote once each for everyone you like?
Not like our Government elections which only let you vote once!
(Except for Illinois)

Bobbo sez "I'm sure your comment count would be MUCH higher had you done it topless."
You got a point there.
I got a topless version of Hotel California that I could post to compete with that red-haired chick.
