:-P

IF we go to the new format, will all the current members (including lurkers and those in hibernation) get an invite to join?

And what about the photo galleries and The Vault, will that stuff move over too?

I agree about the NO SMILEYS!!!

Sheeesh..

IF... note large letters IF we go to the new format (which there is a good chance at this point), I will have links setup to return to this one for archival purposes.

Although there are some limitations over there, the features seem to outweigh the limits.

As opposed to change as I usually am, I'll get used to it... I guess.

There are some nice features.

I've also gotten many requests to be added as another member's Friend. (not that there's anything wrong with that!)
What's the deal with this???

Guess you didn't realize you might have friends?

As Sally Fields said, "You like me, you really, really like me!"

only 100 photos allowed is kinda sucky, I had to scale it down to only Ovations, then scale it down to just a few pics of each ovation.

I do have several galleries and things going though. There are some nice features, but not so easy to figure it all out. Be prepared to start giving some tech support. It's all a bit overwhelming in some ways, and I'm kinda a tech geek.

Maybe you can outsource technical support to India.

Damon, that's 100 photos per upload session. Look at MusicMishka, he's got 199 photos now.

The more I play with it, the easier it is to navigate.

It even kinda has a "preview" feature and you can jump to the last post of the thread.

'Zilla, do they block by IP address or domain name? Perhaps if/when Miles cuts over, the new site would become ovationfanclub.com and it would start working for you.

Can you get to http://www.davidhasselhoff.com/ ? That's hosted by Ning as well. (9000+ members???? uggh!)

creeps me out too. I just followed the Ning link from the new OFC site and ended up on their front page, where they "feature" it. I didn't want to be the only one with some sleepless nights ahead!

Membership has probably swelled since "Americas Got Talent" showed up on prime time TV.

I just noticed that under the "Links" section over at the "Social Club" that it allows you to jump right over to these "topics". (That's actually how I got here).

I wonder if Miles could do the same thing on this site that would allow some of the members that are temporarily "blocked" to jump over to the new site via this one.

I guess like anything you get used to it in time.

I sign on and mispell the name (as if I'm a great speller anyway). I can't find a way to get back and edit that. WTF????

And there's shit everywhere, I guess you just get used to it, columns here, other comments somewhere else, a comment wall, where the F@ck is that??? Out in East Jesus Tennessee? I posted a comment and hell if I could find it.

I'll stop bitching till I've had a better chance to check it all out. It doesn't take much to confuse me and Miles, you've done an excellent job of it.

You beat me, Bill. I started down the option for if you're already a member and then couldn't remember which email address or password I used for this forum. Then I ran out of patience and took a walk down the street to the guitar shop. A lady walked in with a 50's vintage Gibson acoustic that she wanted some information on because her dad left it too her a few years ago. That was much more interesting.
