Tim ... it's already ruined. Don't even bother opening the box. Since I am your cart buddy, I think it is my responsibility to handle the disposal of your ruined guitar. So please just send it to me as is and you can rest easy.

Bob, does that mean you no longer want the Ibanez Artist 12/6 doubleneck?

18 strings instead of 12....2 necks instead of one...twice the knobs to fiddle with....all for the same price as a minty 1688

Wanna bet Tim doesn't respond because he's already opened the box and is off playing with his new toy?

Tim, we already knew it looked good....although it always looked much bigger when I had it!

What do you think about the sound and playability (keeping in mind those strings are probably at least a year old!)

I wouldn't want that.

But this time I wasn't referring to physical size, Tim.

Tim, you might only want to change out 6 strings at a time. All 12 at once might be too much sonically for you to handle!

Tim, I bought the new partial capos from Shubb that Paul T. showed us at the Island...fantastic! You may want to get a pair...no retuning needed!

Music,

Does the partial fit the 12 as well?

I think so: but to tell the truth, I haven't tried yet: I'm at seminary and won't be home before Sat. night: I have the 1687-7 w/me for a presentation tomorrow night...I'll let ya know when I get home!

Ha ha ha

Along a similar line...stepped in front of a mike for the first time last night with big blue at a local open mike. Just one song (Son of a son of a sailor). Scared sh@tless, know I jacked up at least one line and fumbled a chord change. I thought I sounded like crap through the monitor...voice had way too much bass or I imaged it did anyways. The crowd responded well to the song and was getting into the grove and started singing on the last chorus...was a really moving experience.
I believe what Matt said, the audience is already on your side :)

Tim, that is very cool.

Would you have done this before the AI gathering?

Absolutely not, and I probably wouldn't have last night if Brad hadn't got me to open up that Friday night and sing a couple songs with him. The whole experience at AI gave me the courage to give it a go and I just wanted to stand up there will Big Blue :)

I figured the 12 strings would hide my voice anyways. It was cool and now I want to do it again!
