Edward Bear?

Here's one ... everyone knows the song "Hang on Sloopy". Did you know it was the official state song of Ohio? Trivia: What was the name of the band and who was the vocal and guitar frontman for the group?

I was gonna say "Muskrat Love" by The Captain & Tennielle (sp?), since that was the grossest hit EVER. But since Mephitis mephitis is not a muskrat, I'll pass.

No, I meant gross in a purely "I feel sick" manner.

Maybe we should re-name this thread "One Hit Wonders"

And speaking of state songs, how about Indiana's and R. Dean Taylors big 1...still waiting on Bubble Puppy.

Sorry, no winner. The correct answer is "Dead Skunk". Please play again next week...

Henry McCullough and Jimmy McCulloch were both in Wings. Henry in '72-'73, Jimmy '74 through '78.

What album featured Pete Townshend, David Gilmour, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, and Paul McCartney - and is considered to be the bands weakest effort?

Wings - Back To The Egg.

The last Wings album. Despite it's rep for being weak, it's actually a kick-butt rockin' album!

This will probably sound bad, but when I read that, I got a mental image of that kid from that show "Life Goes On" fronting a punk band.

Now here's one, I don't know if it crossed the border but was a fantastic one hit situation 'back when". It was only released as a 45, they never recorded an album under their own name.

Who recorded, "A Country Boy Named Willie."

and what was their other claim to fame?
.............................................
'nother one.
Two hit wonder.

Sugarloaf, name the songs.

I did know that but didn't remeber it until I read it.

How about changing it up and naming a line from a song and guessing the hit?

'Just because in a moment of madness, I took advantage of your sweet love.'

I didn't say they had to be big hits.

'Don't hand me a lifetime of sadness and go blaming me for something I'm just not guilty of.'

This is the next line.
