The FD-14 and the Adamas II are so different but the greatest difference is the sound.
I've never heard an Ovation with such a "wood" sound!! So warm and so sweet.
I've played on that guitar more than 30 minutes (plugged in) and it was so easy.

When I started to play, I was a little bit surprised by the 12 frets neck and I had lost my marks but with some practice, there's no problem.

There was 4 Adamas II and each one have a different sound.
The only thing that they shares is the amazing comfort of their necks and the incredible projection of the sound.

I was so sad to leave all these beauties at the end of the day...

Antoine told us today a nice story.
Yesterday, when he was on the way to his house in the south of France, he saw a special car on a parking.
He takes a photo and the girl who own that car was amazed to see a guy shooting its car...

Look at the photo!!
It was a sign isn't it??? :D :D

Tom,
That is just weird.

I think Tuppy being at the gathering with a Uke has unleashed some sort of cosmic karmic neo-energy!

And Tom does not yet know that we billed all the drinks to room number 47 ...

Seriously, having a 47RI and a ukulele in the same place at the same time is like the PLUS and MINUS 3 sigma of the guitar distribution.

Watch out! Now we have a Marketing guy throwing statistics around. It's going to get deep in a a big hurry.

Tuppy, best to leave that kind of numbers to us Engineering types. We can lie the best with 'em!

Hi,

Of course we've made a movie of this amazing week end.
My friend Cyril has made a 30 mn DVD and a "trailer"...
FRENCH GATHERING TRAILER

As you can see, we don't have "coconut bra" but we're also crazy!!! :D

Dave, the DVD is on the way to Arizona since last week with some extras. ;)
Feel free to make copies if you want.
Your Bruce Sprinsteen song's performance on Uke is really incredible...

Don't worry Jeff, Dave is singing in American so he don't need to be subtitled... :D

J, Fantastic, You guys and your gals looked like, you had good time. Dave, looks right at home. Paulmac, if I did not know, You were in France I'd have thought the setting was right here. It just goes to show even though we speak a different language, our homes are in different countries, and we are raised in different cultures we have so much more in common than we realize. Viva Le Tour!!

Stephen, your copy is on the way to Littleton since this afternoon!! ;)

Texbaz, thanks for these nice words and I agree with you.
We have more to share than we could imagine.
Especially with some friends, a BBQ, good wines, some good foods, Ovation guitars and a very good Uke player of course!!! ;)

I let him sleep at my house one time before the NAMM show, and now, every year, like the sparrows at San Juan, he keeps showing up. What a pain.......

What a load of crap. THIS is how it really goes. Three years running now, Moody starts calling me in early January. "Dave, you gotta come. You need to be here. PLEASE? I'll drive 5 hour to Phoenix and pick you up..."

Dave

PS - I played the same song on Jerome's DVD as I did on Le Tour '06 DVD, so y'all are gonna think I only know one song. Well, that might be true but it's still 1/2 a song more than Moody knows. Jeez, how many times can one person play the 1st verse of GOMM???

Cliff ... The swallows of New Jersey? So what's with the Gov. They shut down the beaches and casinos? What the hell is up with that? Yeah let's close the only money making gigs we've got going. Sometimes I do actually miss the place. Dave
