the ceiling is now a cheerful "sunbeam yellow."
I gotta start thinking out of the box. I have never even concidered anything other than good ol' ceiling white.

I would avoid suggestions for room paint that had terms like "Sunburst" or "Adamas Blue" and "reverse fade".

Over the top is hard to recover from!

Just blame it on an article you saw in Cosmopolitan, etc.

lmao....I am in the middle of gutting my bathroom. This one got to me. It is the one room in the house where you just tend to sit there and look around.

I just finished a total remodel of our basement bath :) I put in a pine car siding ceiling that is really an eye catcher! People comment on how nice it is all the time, finish nailer and some quality varnish and your all set  New tiled shower, sheetrock and a good coat of white paint. My wife is going to hang some netting on the ceiling and hang some fishing lures, seashells and whatnot to create a seside look :D Plenty of things to look at when you forget your reading materials! Even has an old anchor in it :D It's pretty cool!

". . Just blame it on an article you saw in Cosmopolitan, etc. . ."

Actually, I can blame it on a paint chip that I saw in a local hdwr. store that looks aLOT like the top of my Adamas (that hangs right outside my bathroom door) . . . it even has shiny little gold "flecks" in it!!

What sucks is that last year I had gutted the bathroom, repainted it, and installed a four-foot-long, three-door medicine cabinet/light fixture.
Since it's my personal "loo", I wanted t'do an "Adamas-motif", and Jeanette concurred, but I couldn't find the right paint in time, and opted for some color (that I don't really like) in order to just "get it done".

Now, I'll have to dismantle everything if I wanna repaint it . . . .

Anybody know where I can get some epaulets for the toilet tank??

RE: Epaulet Toilet Seat.

Don't let the Martin board read this...

...I may end up selling them one - for three times what the price should be!

No, but I DID consider getting a "tribal" around my upper arm of the OakLeafRosette for my 50th, but couldn't find a local place that I felt confident would do it "right" . . .

 WOW! Guit tar in the bathroom! Now why didn't I think of that?!? Magazines are getting a bit boring and passé.

Cliffy,
I think you've hit on a better way of 'Multi Tasking'. I wonder how the acoustics would be in there? Just gotta make sure you got plenty 0' room on your head-stock side of the stool otherwise you'd have to sit side saddle in the throne. :D

I would think that someone who works in "education" would have better reading skills.

". . . that looks aLOT like the top of my Adamas (that hangs right outside my bathroom door) . . ."

I never once stated that the guitar was IN the bathroom . . .

(besides . . . that's where I keep my ukelele! ;-)

The tile shower DOES give a nice, "slap-back" echo . . .
