The WRB is a cool item.
Take 'er out.... show her the town... take pics...tell stories... lie if you have to.
For the newer members (since about 10 months ago), go back and start at page 8 to see what we're talking about.

I think most people who have had the WRB have added a little something to the goody bag. Maybe the next person who gets it can give us a listing of what's now in there. Should be interesting. Dave

The only place you'll find a "hot wareoouse" is in Canada or Scotland. In Phoenix you'll probably find a hot warehouse or two. And here in the netherlands a hot whorehouse never seems to be too many km away.

DZ,

You should call and see if they will "hold it at the depot", and go pick it up today!! unless it's out on a truck and they haven't updated the site...

After numerous calls, no luck, apparently it's locked in a trailer until Sunday night.

After all the back and forth with the brownnes. The WRB showed up during dinner yesterday. Spent an hour or so checkin' her out last night.

First, this is a very pretty guitar. The craftsmanship is amazing. The wooden back is beautiful. The abalone dresses it up nicely. Its looks right at home with my Ovations.

It doesn't sound nearly as full as any of my Ovations but it sounds pretty good. It has its own unique voice.

It plays easily and is surprisingly light.

The trinkets included (so far) in no particular order are:
The Ovation 40th Anniversary brochures
The Unique Voices CD
A CD of the WRB at MWoody's
A CD called OFC Calendar trinket
The "Members Night Out" OFC CD
T28's Backing tracks on CD
An itty bitty Kaki King CD with 2 songs on it
A CD marked NAMM 2006
Slipkids traveling trinket
A CD of Ukulele songs (wonder where that came from)
2 Ovation shaped air fresheners
and the Marcel Dadi CD!

This is so cool! I am really excited to check out all this great stuff!

Darn...being the first on the list I missed out on all the cool trinkets. Especially T28's backing tracks.
.
Is the disposable camera still there??

Brad, I am sure that D'z could copy the backing tracks disc and send you a copy. I would do it but I honestly don't remember what I put on it.

Just musing.....

Though it's currently at the far corner of the country, and 30,000 people are lined up and waiting, .... if we pull off the Pacific Norhtwest gathering in August, what's chances of the WRB making a quick visit and moving on....?

I hate when someone douses my muses so, although I have no idea where I am in line, I would gladly postpone my hosting of the WRB so that the PNW could show it off....

Now that DZ has it, is there a list of who or where is next...?

It was in the NW for quite awhile and we talked about passing it around then, but it never happened. We seem to have a tough time getting our acts and ourselves together.
