I prefer Tully's, however, if I'm out of town, and it's a choice between "Joe Blow's Java Hut" and a Starbucks, I'll pick the Starbucks. At leat I know what I'm going to get. Same concept that's kept McD's alive and well.

I have a few favorite "huts" that I frequent when I can. Different ones known for different "specials" like muffin or other fresh baked goods.

If it wasn't for those water (and power) stealin bastages down in CA, we'd never have a "drought" situation up here.

Someone to take the lead on a Guitar Maintenance Workshop. We all have some tips and tricks for everything from changing strings to adjusting necks. We just need a "ring leader" to lead the conversation. MWoody ? Damon ?? I can help too of course. I have strings, and tools and a neck support, tuners, etc.. Whomever steps up, make it as formal or informal as you like. You're volunteering, so it's your show, I'll try to get you whatever you need. 2. Anyone else who wants to make a presentation/do a workshop, let me know. We have plenty of time and space. Share your skills!!! Share your Talent. Don't be shy!! 3. Song writing contest. Need someone to take the lead on this (excuse the pun). I've never done one, but from what I have heard, they can be loads of fun. Don't forget to PRE-ORDER YOU EVENT T-SHIRT Here!!!

Maybe Miles knows of someplace close. I'm not fussy, but when I went to the Oregon gathering I had to buy something ordinary at the grocery store. I'd like to bring something a bit unusual this time. I know. Bumming a ride and already starting on a list of other favors.

And since I have stopped imbibing, I have seen local brew for six dollars a 12-pack at Grocery Outlet! Of course, I only see crap like that now that I don't drink!
