Well, you already have one of these Mark. And SOMEONE had to bring some cool acoustics.

So Am I picking you up from the Airport then?

hmmm, I'd guess either an 87C or a 1537. Unless you meant an Ultimate A...

If it's not too much trouble, I'd appreciate it. My daughter is going to be in the area, but getting her pinned down to a plan isn't working. I'll get you the flight details before I leave for Charlotte and I'll try to remember to pack a a shirt that you'd recognize easily. I only have one Hawaiian shirt and everyone at the airport might be wearing one of those, so I'll wear something Ovation.
Are you sure you'll have enough room for me with all your cool acoustics? I wouldn't want to displace any of those. I'll gladly share a seat with a guitar if I have to.

Trailblazer EXT will hold a bunch. We're good. We might take a detour to the house before heading up though.

All we have left then is salmon, software, and airplanes...

Al, I'm glad you're going to make it. It'll be a blast.

Starbucks is an $8.63 per day habit.

Man, in a year, that's a nice textured top.

Love coffee, hate Starbucks. Too strong. Still, I couldn't pass up a visit to the very first Starbucks store down near the wharf. Their big mugs will easily hold two gross of picks.

Perhaps I'm jaded because I'm somewhat local, but I think it's safe to say that the original Starbucks is about the least interesting thing at Pike Place Market. I'd definitely recommend a trip to the Market, though!

I'm with the Prof. Keep the Starbucks. I've been to most of the attractions in Seattle. I'm going for the guitars.
My guess for the Ultimate O that I already had was the 04 Commemerative CL. I guess I need to talk to SWMBO about Al's offer. I should have been prepared to work it into the conversation the other day when she told me I should take a guitar to the gathering. Father's Day, the first in 25 with no kids around, might be an opportune time.

David had it. THere's a mint 1537 burst on it's way.

I'm all giddy about it.

One of the Taks won't be making it though. I tried, but my failing wrists just won't let me embrace the Bluegrass. Unfortunate. It's the best sounding guitar I've ever had the pleasure of playing, both unplugged and plugged.

Keep the Tak for a few weeks and let us try it at the jam. I've never had a chance to play a Tak other than the run of the mill ones at the local GC.

I'll still have the Nashville.

It's still in our fam here, but not in the NW. I'll see if he can deal with an extra week's delay.

Ooh, 1537 burst, one of my dream guits... actually 1547 burst would be ideal. wish I could think of a way to get my 01C up there for the festivities as I don't think I'll be able to swing it in person.

David, your 01C will be missed, but you'll be missed more.

Sure you can't, not even for a day?

I'll bring at least a baker's dozen. And a dude from Boise. And maybe a Carvin X100B, just for kicks and giggles.

Miles, do you have extra speaker cabs? Can I just bring the head?

Are we gonna be able to get um.... LOUD on occasion? ;)

You good on bass amps? WHo's bringin' a drum kit? Oh shit this is getting closer quick.

Have a couple Bass amps, Eden, Ampeg, Ovation.

I have a couple guitar cabinets... Actually more than a couple.

I guess we can get as loud as we want, I can't imagine anyone caring.

I wasn't thinking of setting up the drums, although just for sake of sanity and reality, I may set up my TAMA midi kit or a hybrid kit with real snare, kick and symbols with the rest TAMA pads. I'll have other "percussion" stuff around as it seems to add a LOT to the jams. Tambourine, and other things that go clack and clank.
