uh...Slip and Wab, I have already claimed the "Low Man on the Totem Pole" badge for this little git togetha. I will be proud to wear it and make no excuses for it. I have never gigged out or in for that matter and am still learnin tha cowboy chords. Why go, you ask? Why not! I will learn a little and have a whole lotta fun, with friends I have already met and the ones I look forward to meet (except Jeff W.)

So, find another personal fault and leave mine alone..

Based on the attendees, I would have made arrangements to go just based on hanging out with you guys. Some of my best buddies that I have never personally met will now be going and I have to admit I am really excited.

The fact that there is a Matt Smith clinic is now just icing on the cake!

Jimbo... I will be right there with you old pal. Just remember which one of the CrimsonLake clan got up and played at the Southern Jamboree... there's a good reason for that!

Whatever the case may be... a GREAT time will be had by all.

Though I am a little disappointed that Brad didn't see fit the reserve the honeymoon suite for us :(

I would have brought the champagne too.

Don't shoot me if I'm off too much, I haven't watched the DVD Wabbit graciously sent me for a couple months but I seem to remember this from Matt's OFC workshop last year...I'm taking Matt's cue and doing a modified paraphrasing here on the topic of guitar playing ability, "if your having fun, that's good, cause it's called playing"

When I pick up that instrument, it makes me happy and I'm having fun...the rest of ya may be covering your ears however :D

Hey,

The more you suck, the more you need this clinic.

Besides, you get to hang out at the FrickinMermaid. It's about the hang. Hemmingway had Key West, we've got Amelia, you'll see.

Cool. I really need this clinic.

But I need to pay for attention ... I thought we got to hang out WITH the FriskyMermaid. Guess I'll just have to stand outside with Slippy and his air.

Wab, you had to dig deep for that quote! ;)

Actually, I am just pickin on Jeff W. His ..uh..hmmm..unique since of humor and wit remind me that I am the youngest of four boys. He must be home folk!

Regardless of my playin ability, I am coming for the opportunity to meet those that I haven't met and renew friendships of those that I have. I know that Matt will teach me amd encourage me on my journey. How can I lose?!

Mitch,

Are we good on the Hotel front?

Check your PM mailbox. It appears to be full.

15 pages and I've totally freaking lost track of what's going on here ...

Time for a roll call. In less than 10 words, who's coming, what are ya bringing, how long are ya staying, are you golfing, performing, and are you allergic to latex. Brad, bring your uke (and what size alter boy robe do you think you'd wear). Just hypothetically.
