Not sure what the official "waiting list" is, but by sending to Moody he can then pass it on to another 3-4 members in the LA drag area. Dave

In case anybody hasn't figured it out, the Marcel Dadi is in with the guitar as well as some other goodies that people have added. It now includes a copy of the 40th Anniversary dvd, which was my modest contribution. It will be interesting to see what is on the disposable camera when it finally makes it back.

Jeff, remember your guitar is at their mercy. The one thing that amazed me about it is that it was so light. Most guitars without any electronics feel light to me, but I expected the woodback to be thicker. The wooden bowl must be very thin and I was awed by the time and talent that it took to make it that thin.

Some things I just try not to think about...

You're right, Mark, as I have said before, though it may not take ribbons in the sound department (it's not bad, just not remarkable), there is a high degree of craftsmanship in it. And if you saw the shop in which it was made, you would be dumbfounded...we are talking, late Bronze Age...

I defended a Chinese manufacturer of harness hardware. Sold under a very common brand name that I no longer remember. I asked for a description of the manufacturing process and got a video with hands, bare feet and a forge that looked like the bronze age. Pretty amazing what people can do without machinery.

I was going to jump in line but I thought since no one else from this part of the country was going to take a turn, I'd catch up to it at the Tour instead.

Why don't we all go to Jeff's place? He'll roast a pig and we'll all play. :D

Yeah Hey what ever is easiest? I suppose that guitar could hit a bunch of guys at the Gathering? I would feeel funny keeping it for a while anyway I would only want to play it for a while here it, rub it a little, and send it off. So perhaps the tour is the best for me.

What ever you guy's think?? I am sure Jeff would like to have this back someday?

D'Zilla - if no one is behind you in line, can I get a turn? Or, if Crusty is in line first, I'll jump in behind him. Then, if Randy is still interested, I can shoot it up to the North (or maybe even hand it off halfway if that's preferable).
