dvd is in Forest Grove, not too far from Waskel and we have a couple other occasional posters in Oregon.

I have it boxed, taped and ready to go. It includes an instant camera, Slipkid travelling trinkets, Dadi DVD and Journal and some cat hair from my house (likely). The crummy old tuners are in my parts bin if needed!

Whom is the next recipient? I encourage Geographical connectivity but will bow to the will of the masses.

Or should I just keep it another 3 months?

I just heard from dvd that he and Waskel have bowed out and I'm supposed to get it and take it to Dave when we go to Arizona March 4. If that's incorrect, let me know. Otherwise, I'll PM Woody my shipping address. I keep getting error messages when I send a PM, but they seem to go through.

That's incorrect. I don't remember bowing, in or out. And I don't know that it's such a good idea to give it to Dave, he might try to mate it with one of his ukes and create a hideous new species.

If it's just waiting for a destination, and if it's looking to come back East for the Tour, it can come to my place to spend some time then be driven to the Tour...(if it let's me ride along that is)...but, if plans are made, I'll stand down. The last thing I want to do is add confusion to the World Hard Body Tour...

OK. If Woody can get it to Waskel and Waskel can get it to me by March 3, I would be happy to take it to Dave.

No, no, no... there you go with the literal thing again. Have Woody ship it to you, Mark. David and I discussed it, and that's the way it's a gonna be.

Besides, I'll see it in May.

Mark,

You are hereby subpeen'rd to provide me your adress. Failure to comply will result in punative recourse not limited to having to buy several rounds (not 9mm) for OFC'ers or being forced to sing "Louie, Louie" every time you cross the WA border.

How many Lawyers does it take to open a guitar case? Only one to open it but at least two more for the appeals. Then three more to hang it...

...except in Texas!

Wait, what post is this? Sorry.

You just gotta get his attention, Mike...

A lawyer was driving his Porsche down the highway, singing to himself, "I love my Porsche, I love my Porsche." Focusing on his car, not his driving, he smashed into a tree. He miraculously survived, but his car was totaled. "My Porsche! My Porsche!" he sobbed.

A good Samaritan drove by and cried out, "Sir, sir, you're bleeding! And my god, your left arm is gone!"

The lawyer, horrified, screamed "My Rolex! My Rolex!"

OK. I emailed Woody my address. Any more lawyer jokes and I'm not taking the guitar to Dave. That probably won't stop anybody.

He then filed a tort against the samaritan for pain and suffering.

It's interesting that it's now on my way from Woody, who originally suggested we only do it by physical "hand-offs". That would have been so much more fun. I will try to personally deliver it to Dave, but I'm not sure that taking it on the plane will be safer than shipping it.
My wife just suggested that I just drop her off at my parent's in Arizona while I visit Dave because she doesn't want to sit around and wait for us to play guitars. What a great idea! I had the same idea, but knew if I suggested it, she'd be pissed. Probably better that she not meet Dave anyway. She thinks I'm crazy.

She could have lunch with Mrs. Dave and you could both end up in the Doghouse!

While the WR is a wonder to behold it is the sharing part that matters.

I'm really looking forward to it. The non-guitar playing people I've talked to about it think I'm weird. I'll just quit talking to them. That group includes my wife. She thinks Jeff is really weird for sending his guitar around the country to a bunch of strangers. Or did she say strange people?

OK, I need to jump in here. I have ONE golden rule - NO contact between my wife and any OFC members. PERIOD. Moody visited a few years ago and the first thing he says to Mrs. Dave is "So, what do you think about all those guitars your husband buys". Way to go Moody! Mark let me know what time you'll arrive and I'll be sure the gas tank is full, the gold card is in her purse and her car is headed towards the mall ...

PS - Have you ever played "Eve Of Destruction" on a ukulele ???

Enjoy her, Mark...(the guitar, I mean... unless Mrs. StandingOvation gives you permission...)
