Seriously, I'm going to do my best to waterproof and tie down an Adamas 1881 SSB on the bike. My lingering concern is that I intend to make some stops and do some sightseeing on the way out, which means leaving the guitar completely out in the open. Waterproofing notwithstanding, this sort of dampens the idea.

I didn't 'love' Wild Hogs in any way, but it did have some amusing moments. Such as when they noticed the fireball from the bar rising behind them...

That's because you're Polish.
No we like them domesticated, preferably in sausage.
The movie was stupid, corny, predictable and grossly over acted. Loved it. The scene where they have to all stop and pee after a few miles reminded me of most of our Porsche tours.

Now we need to get back on track. I'm not bringing any guitars.

I carried my Balladeer all over Europe in the mid-70's, (decade, not temperature) for a while it was even strapped to the back of a moped.

The case is cracked where laid over the rack, but the guitar is still my favourite.

Probably because of those memories of playing for Swedish schoolgirls on the lawn of the Louvre, jamming with gypsies on the beach in St. Marie de la Mer, sitting in with a Pink Floyd cover-band in Dunkerque, writing love songs with Wendy from San Diego....and on and on.

We been playin' and stayin' together
through all'a the changes and all kinds'a weather.
I think that we should head back out again,
On the road my friend..

Bottom line, O's travel well.
(and scare the hell out of other guitars at the campfire!)

Brad;
Get yourself some of those pink plastic "Medical Waste" garbage bags, and wrap it in a couple of those . . .

Or just ship it up to me. I'll get it there for ya. Just to be sure it gets here in time, better ship it now. ;)

Maybe you could pick up a load to bring at Marks? I understand he's out during the day.

Tim has duplicates of several of mine and several others. Besides, he'd have to drive further to get my stuff than he would have to drive to Seattle. He should represent Idaho well. Miles has an OFC. Seen one seen them all, except that I expect everyone will want to check it out.

I was thinking the same thing. Does Woody have his Lost Art Koa collector for us to try out? I have to go back through this to see if I made reservations.

If I like yours, I might just buy one from Al, but I kind of wanted to try one first. I was actually hoping to try a 12 and 14 fretter and see which I liked better.
This all assumes those 01 or 05 Collectors, FDs or others don't keep sidetracking me.
And Woody, if you bring all those, I won't mind if you don't pick me up at the airport.

I have one. I plan on giving it to my daughter in 4 years, though, and then I might look for another one or maybe go for a Book Elite instead.

Another option is to ship instruments to Mile's Manor! I believe he has a commercial FedEx address.
