Bassman Brad and I had an easy 6 hour drive home. It was great meeting everyone and we both a fantastic time. I hope JB isn't too sore from his stunt double activities.

I shared a loft with BT this weekend and he never snored that much. He must really be tired. Let's try not to wake him... OTTO! Get down from the couch!

Just got home from what seems like 2 weeks of driving, but I'm happy to say, I was able to pick up the Martin 000-15S that I won on Ebay with a pass through Daytona Beach. It was worth it now that I'm home safe with memories of a great time with great people. Thanks to all who made it what it was!

Aw, Jack! Ya should know me better by now...

What a totally FANTASTIC gathering! I'm still pumped... My special thanx to Keith and Jim for setting it up!

Several observations:
-OFC gatherings are must to attend. It's just about the most fun ya can have with your clothes on.
-If ya don't have a grand time, it's your fault.
-Yankee OFC 'virgins' are priceless.
-A bass guitarist should be mandatory at the gatherings. It added an awesome dimension to the jams. Thanx Brad!
-My guitars sound so much better sitting in front of them instead behind 'em. Ummm, never mind, I just realized why...
-Otto and Jas blew me away with the tightest and sweetest harmony since the Everly Brothers. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn a few of their songs were professional studio recordings.
-I can hold a pick. Now I gotta learn how to use 'em.
-As Brad learned, ol' country songs can be depressing.
-As JB learned, gravity sucks.
-As BT learned, asphalt is a birth defect in da mountains. Gotta love the gravel roads...

I have to say I'm blessed with the fine 'family' that has become a rewarding part of my life. Love and thanks to all of ya'll.

BTW, I have put some pics on my NING. I'll add what I have that are not dupes of the other attendees later on.

I may just print that, have it blown up, and hung in a prominant place in the shop!

You mean like the one in the picture? I'm pretty sure it's fretless, and they're a little harder to play. :p

Not quite Jack....I have added a good many tattoos since this was taken. You know the old saying, "where there's skin....bring tha pen".

TR will have to speak for himself.

Nicky and I got back last night and we both wished it would've lasted much longer. A big thanks to Keith and Beggin for getting this together. It was the perfect location.

Not much more to add except to say that it was great seeing everyone again - and meeting Jack and Brad for the first time. The best that I can say is that I feel more at home at these gatherings than just about anywhere else in the world.

Serge, Blues, Capo, Gway, Joisey Goils, Richard - we missed ya!

Having the bass definitely added some pizzaz to the songs - and having it played by such a nice guy (Brad) is just gravy.
