Geez,
I feel like that guy, whose wife left him, she then lost 30 lbs and discovered Victoria's Secret and is now being seen with a higher class of people.

Thanks, Woody. She looks great.

I think D'Zilla is next in line?

EDIT: Anyone else notice the ehh.. phallic composition of Woody's pic.

The phallic framage was totally unintended. This is a family site you know!

I am meaning to ask W2 if the designer of the peghead later worked for Disney on the Aladin Project!

I wasn't able to redo as much as I wanted to but I did strip and redo the headstock and part of the neck. A little clean up in various spots but there is still plenty of "character" left. Changing tuners just left too many tattletales.

She has new Adamas 1818's, a case and several trinkets from Slipkid, will carry the Dadi DVD's and Brad's disposable camera.

Waskel has been waiting patiently and there will be a gathering in SoCal for the Man, er, NAMM Show soon. I still think arranged hand-offs are the way to go.

I will do what the voices tell me!

I thought Waskel got hands on at CMS? If not, seems reasonable to get it to him before it goes elsewhere...and it would be a hoot to get it over Witko-ways for the NAMMbie-pambie gathering....

but, I am not the cruise director...you guys figure it out.

I think you should do a hand off to Waskel. Let all you guys in the upper left check it out, then send it to me and I'll start the southeastern part of the journey.

Great pic BTW.

As much as I'd love to try that sweety out, another overseas trip to the islands may make the poor thing homesick.
Jeff, I'll wait till I tranfer back to the Tidewater area before I ask to play her :)

As much as I would like to have her for a while, better count me out. We're leaving for Africa just a little over a week from today, for 2 weeks. I wouldn't want to risk missing her in the mail somehow. Better push on to D'Zilla.

I have a feeling I'll get to play her in May. Am I right, Jeff?

...If it's in my hands I will bring it. Otherwise, maybe we can arrange to have it shipped to CT from wherever it might be....

Bump.

First - I encourage all lurkers and Posters to put themselves on the Frapper OFC Map:
http://www.frappr.com/ovationfanclub

Next - A person-to-person pass is my first choice but I can ship it anywhere.

Waskel - Have a great mission! I can even wait until you get back if need be.

Let's keep the cookbook references to a minimum until I return from Africa, okay?

I am trying to meet with Witko in early March in Arizona. I could bring it back and then try to get it back around the Northwest, but I'm not sure I can bring it back on the plane.
If Dave still has it then, I could just play it and let him worry about shipping it to the next person.
I'm worrying about what effect it may have on my wife if I take her with me to see Dave's guitars, not to mention the effect that meeting Dave may have on her.

Think of all the guitars you could buy while she's in therapy.

Recent confessions as to the whereabouts of "The Books" have urged me to bring up the Wooden Roundback Tour!

I was thinking of sending/passing it to Waskel, who should return soon.

With it is a Slipkid CD set and camera, The Dadi DVD and a few other items. Truth is I like to let my Wife see a guitar leave the house occasionally!

Any ideas, views or local persons wanting in on the fun?
Kurt (MrGolf007) just had shoulder surgery so I will need to go over to his house and play his guitars for him!

I encourage all lurkers and Posters to put themselves on the Frapper OFC Map:
http://www.frappr.com/ovationfanclub
It's a good visual reference for us all.

I'm doing a quick trip to Seattle/Renton this weekend.. I could bring it back with me and hold it for Waskel... when does he get back from Africa?

I'll be travelling with the wife and toddlers, and likely with pile of goodies from Ikea, so it would have to be more of a grab-and-go. MWoody, how far off the I5 corridor are you and/or are you able to meet me somewhere? PM me.
