I don't know what's worse, a bongo player or an aspiring bongo player.

Yes, something was amiss. Not like noah to miss out on something like the Preacher 12 for under $650!

I had the strangest dreams...
 You guys talked about woman's breasts for a week.
:) Fugot scored the wildest WTC Proto from Sam.
 The asking price for a Breadwinner Limited surpassed $2000.
:D Stephen gave me a great deal on his Fretless 5 string bass and delivered it in person.
:p I sanded down the 1537's gloss neck and oiled it.

Based upon Noah's work on the neck of his 1537, I've started sanding mine down, first with a file then a rotary sander. I'm finding an interesting benefit in that the neck is getting smaller, which is good because I have small hands (being only 5'6" tall).

I've discovered that a good ole cheese grater works just fine.

The corner of a cinderblock wall works best.
Gives ya' two free hands in which to hold it . . and you can lean INTO it while you scape.

Designzilla,

Now that the newness has worn off and a week has passed.....how do you really feel about the guitar and the advice given by fellow OFCers?

Still feeling the bliss! I'm sooo glad I got my 1537 instead of the W59whateveritwas. I love the rich warm sound. Love the way it plays. I really appreciate all the people who talked me into it. My GAS is cured for now. But when it eventually comes back and I start looking for an Adamas, the search starts here!
