The FD 14, well, maybe someday..... But let's get real. If I never got another guitar, I'd still be as lucky as a man can be.

He really gets a lot of joy out of stuff like this, so it may be better to give than receive. Although I'd rather get the 87. In my case a 1537, but we're working on that. His mother had a stroke last week, so he's got a lot on his mind. Hope all goes well for our not so secret friend.

Well, the guitar did. I sounded like, well, me. Noah came to my church this morning (The Wondering Jew -- his hair musta been red before it went silver) and took pics. Hope to see them tomorrow. I was glad he was there for the 87's maiden voyage.

That's why I keep coming back even when I am tired. Pictures are great but the sun reflecting off the toothy smile destroyed the sight in my right eye.

The ladies really had him sweating... they abandoned the new song. For its debut, Paul shared his new ’87 at Worship Service the morning of August 21st, 2005. Tony and I are so grateful to John, Kim, and their team. Without their magic, we would not have been able to pull off this surprise. It is beautiful and sounds as fantastic as it looks. 18 years ago, it would not have sounded this good. Like a fine wine, aged to perfection.

I could show you pix of me playing my new O that I ordered from Al, except IT HASN'T COME YET. To be fair, he warned me that it might take up to 4 months and it's only been 1.5, but I am leading worship "all by my lonesome" next week, and it surely would be nice. I'll just enjoy it all the more when it gets here. Oh, and I'm ready to go, since I just got a Hawaiian shirt... seems to be a prerequisite. Anyway, congrats, and admiration to you fine people.
