Also worthy of mention is his classic ad-lib line "This shitty guitar never plays the chords I want it to play" on Queen's Live at Webley album. He was attempting to play a Tele at the time, not an O!) JB

A couple weeks ago, Jeanette and a couple of the neighbors went (as a goof) to see David Cassidy at a local community theatre. The unanimous consensus was that he totally su-huh-huh-huh-ucked. He came across like a second rate Tom Jones/Englebert Vegas act. At one point, he sat on a stool with an acoustic (not an Ovation, btw), strummed a chord and said "ooh, needs bass". He started adjusting the pre-amp controls and totally screwed up the guitar's settings. His guitarist came running out (it was his guitar) to fix it and looked fairly pissed. It was $20/ticket and they left halfway through . . . Add to the list: Michael Dunford (Renaissance)
