Woody pretty much summed up my path...although I never put away the guitar. I just played a lot less. The best thing I ever did was start my new band last year. Talk about getting your money's worth out of a mid-life crisis! We are having a ball. This is the most fun I've ever had.

The only category that I would add to that is people who work out of their houses when they're not on the road... which I fall squarely into. With a 10 yr. old, I've still got a few years left before the nest empties out.

(unless she decides to re-marry, but I doubt she's willing to derail the GravyTrain) I've made it my Mission in Life to die at the microphone as opposed to just keeling over at my desk (unless of course, I fall forward and my head hits the "delete" button on the keyboard and someone else has to re-do all my work . . . having "the LastWord" is real big w/me . . . ).

Here I am at 50 with a long way to go till our nest is empty. Got two daughters, ages one and two, givin' me plenty reason not to act my age any time soon. They are also reasons to stay active and healthy and to play music! And the beat goes on...

Like Lanaki i need to work a little harder on my health so i can be around a while longer, but i think Lanaki wins the prize with kids that young.

Haven't heard from him since I gave him advice on how to impress girls. Maybe pulling out your false teeth and showing them to her wasn't a good idea.
