When did that happen? If I have the "green," am I going to be able to get one of these, if I so desire one? "I'm not going around and kissing all these asses in the music business. After watching the last original slot ping the $10k mark (thanks Fugot) figured your's was more than SWMBO would give her blessing for..

For the LONGEST time (until I got my "Edumacation" HERE), I'd been lead to believe that my guitar was #20 of 24 . . . The "Ute-12" pics WERE posted. The "back of the headstock" shot was placed at the bottom as a "tease". . .

Essentially it has the same specs as the #47 RI but has been spec'ed to the original -8 blue and has the stereo 2 knob elelctronics. I am very jaded when it comes to instruments, I own a pile of personal ones and I also see many go through my hands on a weekly basis. I have to tell you that this guitas is exquisite. the attention to detail is unsurpassed. Right out of the box it is one of the most comfortable playing guitars that I have owned and it is very consistent up and down the fingerboard. The sound BOOMS out of it and loud is an understatment. Plugged in, the new 2 knob electronics are far superior to the original. I can honestly say that these guitars sound better than the original 47. Here are some pics. They are not too great because it is 20 degrees outside I and I can't take any natural light pictures. I should really be in bed trying to shake this cold but that is another story. ... The center looks a little darker than it actually is. Believe me pictures do not do it justice, you just can't take flash pics of an instrument that has sparkle on the finish. each guitar will be numbered on the back of the headstock Each guitar will come with a certificate and label signed by Bill Kaman. There is also a laser vibrometer readout that is included with each guitar so you can check out how the top on YOUR guitar stands up to others. Each guitar will come with a custom carbon fiber case. This has been the problem with the announcement for this guitar I have been waiting on the confirmation for this case. The case is very cool and also the most expensive guitar case I have ever come across. I am sure when you see it, you will agree, it is the coolest thing. Each guitar will come with a PILE of extras. It is my way of making this guitar as apecial as possible. It has taken almost 2 1/2 years for this guitar to come into being and I cannot tell you the countless hours and time that it took to make it happen. But it is here and I guarantee it will not dissppoint. A list of the extras at this point. Not exclusive to and not limited to. It may change as other items are included or listed items excluded. axe jacket carbon fiber case and case cover (pending finding one that fits) access bag g band kyser blue capo copy of Ovation DVD other voices copy of Fidelco LP ($20 donation to Fidelco) OFC strap from long hollow leather OFC pick holder key ring OFC picks Ovation picks Adamas graphite picks collectible Ovation key ring from the 70's 80's Ovation airlocks Ovation shaped air fresheners Hercules guitar stand guitar foot rest Adamas strings Monster cable coricidin bottle slide metal slide peg winder polishing cloth ofc pen ofc luggage tag I am working on getting Long Hollow leather to make each guitar have an individual luggage take with the owner's name, the OFC logo and the number of your guitar. In my case 1/12 12 guitars have been ordered. you can get it with an 1 3/4 neck but not a 1 7/8 currently the tooling does not exist to do that. (additional $375 upcharge) Although I have ordered 12 gutiars more can be added they just will not be numbered from the original 12. The will still include all the case candy certificates and extras. Give me a day to crunch final numbers (I am really suppose to be in bed) then e mail or call and I will give you the final costs etc. First 12 well 11 to respond gets one of the first 12. I really want to thank all of you who participate on this board. It has been a dream of mine to come up with a really special guitar and believe me we have. The list price is $6000. more information to follow. thanks for being so patient. These guitars are expected in the next few months.
