People come here because they are interested in Ovation guitars...(It's The Ovation Fan Club, 'member?)...in whatever their personal capacity.
To attempt hijack it for any personal issue is juvenile and narrowminded. No matter how important that issue may seem to an individual.
Do we Canucks (and Northern State citizens) bug everyone about the stupid shoot out rule in NHL hockey? No.
Do the old guys here whine about how our commie/socialist medical system will pay for our DRE prostate exams but not the PSA test? No.
Do we come and bitch about being left to clean up the mess in Afghanistan? No.
It doesn't belong here.
And yes, discussion of some pet issues (and Llamas) will take precendence over some that seem more urgent. I can do something about saving my pets life, as a Canadian (Brit/Aussie/Pole/Manx/Frank/etc) I can do nothing about the USA military situation.
This is our happy place, take your misery elsewhere.

| In case shitferbrains is struggling here - could someone point out to him that this is The Ovation Fan Club and not The American Owners of Ovations Fan club? I mean I'm curious about you guys' views on our Constitutional Monarchy but I don't cpome here to read about it.
The French have a Presidential Election coming up - does SFB have views on that he would like to share here?
Something for the Norwegians, the Danes, the Germans, the Australians, the Thai??????

And if you are interested in opinion of particular people, you can always ask them by pm.

The war is not off limits. Discussion of the politics of the war is, because it serves no purpose here other than to cause division and bad feelings.
