I'm sure it is Jeff. But don't you think that's a bit more information than is required? ;)

Jeff,
Haiku can take several other forms but the three metrical units of 5, 7, and 5 syllables seems to work best.

What are the regular side markers on the DS768, etc., made out of?

Woody, that's a GREAT guitar! One suggestion (you have probably already done it) - ditch the TRC and make yourself something cool in it's place. Maybe try to match one of the woods in the epaulets. VERY NICE MY FRIEND!

Only you two could look at a beautiful, brand new just out-of-the-box custom guitar like that, and say, "you know, if it only had...".

It's an illness. Must be congenital, your parents probably had the same thought when they first saw you.

RE: "your parents probably had the same thought when they first saw you."

Ahem, hence the circumcision...

So I think what Al was alluding but not blazenly broadcasting - as well as what I have been purporting is that you can get an LX D-scale now and have Abalone inlays as well.

Now to start planning the next custom...

Woody, did you sketch out the teardrop for them or specify that it should reach all the way to the neck? Usually they have a lot more black. It's like a whole new breed of burst, a non-Gibsony TDB.

That's beautiful.

Actually I thought it would have more of the Gibson-esque black. I looked at as many examples as I could and settled on Teardrop. I think the depth of burst is dependant on the "artist" with the gun at the time.

I knew that whatever I got would be within certain parameters. It grows on you. I want to see it in a Stage lit environment!

As I turn and look at it now I am seeing more figure in the middle tones than I noticed before. Did I mention it kind of grows on you.
