If people don't leave, I'll call in sick on Monday! Looks like the good Captain has grabbed a sleeping spot. We have room for another 1 or 2, or three depending on how picky you are and how we stack the kids. There are also a few hotels close by, I can't remember what they are other than a Marriott. I'll scope them out and post info. I'm really looking forward to this. My wife, who has been encouraging me, is starting to get nervous, but is trying to make this an excuse to get new furniture, new appliances and new carpet out of the deal. I am trying to get it moved up sooner so I will have more time to recoup before the event. I should be there at any rate, if only to take pictures, but hopefully healed enough so you guys can see just how bad I really do play.

We can start with the list from the Southern Jam and add on, or start anew for those that weren't there. Y'all know that I need as much time to prepare as possible. Any song that has D-G-C is fine! Whose coming, and more importantly, what O's and A's are ya brangin?! Like the Southern Jam, I will brang my Nikon so's I'll have somethin to do when the playing gits above my level.

Maybe if I found one with only 1 string, I could master it. How about a washtub with a broom handle? And don't think for a moment that a little shoulder surgery will entitle you to this line of thinking either. You will still be better than me with one hand and one string. You can always use the washtub as a drum.

I heard you play a few licks at the "big banjo" guitar store that I couldn't begin to make happen. You just like to listen and take pictures.... :D And yes, I might just bring a snare drum. (the only piece of equipment I have left.)
