What, not this ???

Isn't it funny that we're talking about songs here yet we're (almost) all pointing to a video site?

I like Pink Martini's version of Bolero.. and in keeping with the trend, here it is on youtube . Or Annie Lennox or Cowboy Junkies or Van Morrison or Leonard Cohen , or or or. My wife would vote for Chris Isaak.

Most of these songs are over 4 minutes long so for the better part of our group we could have sex approximately 3 times during the song and still have time for a smoke before it ended.

PS::: except for OZWATTO who is currently quiting smoking, You OZWATTO could have sex 4 times during the songs.See there is a benefit to giving up those smokes.GWB

A big radio station here did a survey of women a couple of years back and the song that won by a large margin was I Melt With You by Modern English. Second place was Stay Awhile by the The Bells.

Me personally? I make my own special music. ;)

I knew a guy in college who thought it was cool to play his guitar and sing his dates Dylan's Lay Lady Lay....

It was a long time between college and when I got married. And it wasn't me. Oddly, I can almost picture what the guy looked like, but I have no idea what his name was. 34 years is a long f*@kin' time....

Not sure why this just occured to me... but, I penned a "break-up" tune (maybe, I shoulda tried writing a tune on the front-end) nearly 20 years ago.... lyrics are fully developed, not too sappy, and I put them to a simple tune.

It'd be interesting to send the lyrics of to someone else to hear what they would come-up with for a tune.

Anyone game (Phil)?

Sure, I'm always looking for new inspiration.

ANything that stops the voices is okay by me....
('course, as you may tell from my postings...I'm more of a word/idea guy than an actual musician.

WHATaYA mean, " Couldn't tell"!?!?)
