If someone fell in love with it, he could just buy the other guys out. If two other people wanted to go in on it, we could do something like everybody gets it for one year and then decide if any of us want to buy it or just list it here for sale with our honest reviews. Heaven help us if we all fall in love with it. LOL.

Well that changes everything, and a good reason to dislike that guitar.

Joined: March 2015 Posts: 50 | Everyone is of course welcome to bid me up. But I parted with an Adamas to bid on this freak. I want to know, you know. Hate all you want, but I want to know. I'm not going higher than the current bid, which is mine, so if you want to run the bid go for it. But my plan is to provide tonal analysis and have some fun with an otherwise despised instrument. Likely, I regret moving my Adamas 1597 to play this crazy O, but let a guy have a shot at it. Selling that A gives me some wiggle room, but I doubt I'll move much higher than the current bid on the LT 60. Sad to sell the A, but willing to take a shot at this beast.

There are just some bad tastes in the mouths here because of when, and by whom, it was made. It doesn't mean that it won't live up to the Legend that is - "Ovation". It is a Great Price, and if nothing else, a Collectible, as there were not that many made. And you know the Craftsmanship is worthy, it was made by Our Boys here in New Hartford! The end result here, is to make YOU happy. If you are, then your's is the only opinion that should matter to you on it. We will be waiting for your side by side analysis on the sound and quality! (I am still wondering where they came up with that starting bid amount.. $713.81... that is just plain odd!) Edited by Nancy 2015-05-22 9:42 AM

I swear, we have threads on this forum where working musicians are vilified for daring to leave a mark on their guitars in persuit of their art, and threads where mob rule crys "burn it at the stake", a perfectly good guitar, because they hate the manufacturer. You guys are gonna give me whiplash...
