yes, but those are prices only for US / Canada residents and for limited time.
For EU-residents double the price.

I guess the chances of me owning it are getting slimmer and slimmer all the time.

As far as the pickups, I going to assume I used something similar to the T or SD. They were just M-22 when I was using them.

All seriousness aside.. :)

And I quote...

"This is a prototype of what eventually became named the PF-22 guitar. The PF-22 never made it to production. There were about 20 units made. This is one of the very first."

And for my money... much the same as with songs... the first take is the best.

As you can tell from my choice in M22 pickups, I like'em a little warmer sounding, but still with upper-mid punch. I think the wood on the above guitar and on the top of this one...

the wood does just that..

I expected this sort of a response. :D

That thing is beautiful. You know my weaknesses for sure.

So that wood top, is on top of?? uralite/alum body? Is that a maple cap?

You know 3 months is a long wait...

Yeah the wood top is over a standard UKII... I'm guessing, but would assume they put the wood top in the mold and then spun up the foam right into it. Pretty sure it's maple.

LBJ - I'd say $1000 or less, depending on the shape. If they have the walnut, or quilted options, maybe add 100 or so. It's really hard to tell cuz there's so many different options you can pick. It's almost like no 2 are the same.

I got mine considerably less, but it needed new electronics and bridge and lots of cleaning and a new setup with the new bridge and all. Minus the labor, I guess I'm into it for under $800. Mine does NOT have the acoustic bridge tho.

Sorry LBJ. Only have had it up and running for a couple of days now and haven't even been able to properly test through anything full volume yet, and probably won't be able to until next weekend.

I've no samples yet.

When I was getting into electric guitars back in the early to mid-60's in Southern California, I remember obtaining some Carvin brochures, possibly direct from their factory which at the time, I believe, was located in Covina and I only lived a few miles away. The thing I remember most was their amps. Big and beautiful. Of course, I couldn't afford any of it, but when dealing with GAS, step one is collecting brochures. I might still have those somewhere.

Those bastages send me a new catalog every quarter. That's what got me on them.

Now I have the X100B half stack and the DC400T guitar.

I need to tell them to take me off the mailing list.

Damon....SWEEET DC400. I have a DC400P (Fishman Piezo and fixed bridge) but in emerald Green. The thing is a much better guitar than I am a player.

I do have to have a intermittent short figured out, however. Somewhere near the plug the piezo cuts out sometimes. I touch the wires in the area, and it's back.

I used it on this track: (CAUTION RELIGIOUS CONTENT) and it screams. (song has a long header and is not in final mix yet...ran out of winter. The OD guitar over powers everything else, so I need to finish up the master one of these days).

Reflect by Jeff

I have owned a DC135, AE185, and a couple of Cobalts and now an LB75P. I do like my Carvins.

......I suspect the guide to Metal is probably why I could never sing in a Metal band. But I will accept your comments as a compliment. :

(as long as you don't make me watch Metal Band video's again) :D :D :D

I liked your vocals, Jeff. I was surprised you were a tenor. I don't remember your voice being that high.
I think that I lost an octave from drinking coffee for 35 years.
