Have a great time guys! I am really bummed things didn't work out for me this year. I am going to miss the hell out of not being there. It's just right up the road!

Lia was bummed when she heard you (really your wife) :p wasn't going to be there. She was looking forward to hanging out with her while we were all in the clinic.

While "clinic" may be appropriate, Workshop just sounds better. Don't 'cha think?

Well, I did not consider it "work" either but your point is well taken. Maybe Matt's "Chop Shop" is the more appropriate name to use :D

The proper name is "Parr-taayy"...and sounds like Davis has picked right up from last year...I remember O'Kanes just like that...rats! lol...have a good one...
Stephen: the one good thing is I ordered the rest of my DAW today: Logic Studio Pro/Apogee Duet/Audio Technica ATHM50 Headphones...iMac 24 and the rest of what I put together last year (with your help) are waiting...finally...

I'll have to save my Guy song for the OFC CD...

I'd tell everyone to "break a leg" but since Iffy's there I won't...its too close to home...

Festivities should be starting to roll in about 12-14 hours. Guess I should go to bed and get some sleep cause there sure won't be much over the next 4-5 days!

Mike, sounds like a really nice system. After a little over 3 years I finally finished mine up last month by putting in a nice patch bay and XLR mic extender rack. It just reduced the stress level of changing the i/o configurations by a factor of 150%! Man, I can't believe I waited so long to take the final plunge.

Mike, I will be looking forward to you sending me some rough mixes along with polished products!

Have a great time!

Thanks for keeping a tight rein on me. I always hate to see unintentional grammatical or spelling errors.

I have a feeling that if you keep tabs on this thread over the next week if will slowing start to degenerate.
Woo hoo! GREAT reasons! Keep the typoes (and the pretty girls) coming!!!

Glad you're liking it Mike. Sadly I just sold the matching mando. They were quite a pair.

ot, but, we are moving out and into our new apartment, and just 3-4 days ago, septic got fubar'd again,( finally hit the 900 gallon mark when LL didn't fix it correctly then )..

Idiots in the honey wagon backed the tanker right up to the tank... and right over the drain field..
oops... but not my problem.. we'll be out of here completely in another couple of days....

some of you could take a trip up and help us move tho...nevermind..

Have Fun All..... I know you will, and be careful.

I'm having fun even if my song didn't win again...

but congrats to ProfBB, Dave and Beal for being this year's singer/songwriter winners.

...btw, you guys don't know the Professor. You may think you do, but...

Congrats Guys! Nice to pass the baton....wish I were there!

Sadly I just sold the matching mando. They were quite a pair.
Dave, I would have liked to have it but one at a time is all I could handle...if it went where I think it did, it will be coveted...lol

Now go out and hit the little white ball for me, ok?

So I suppose this is going to be another one of those "What happens at Amelia stays at Amelia" deals, where you hint about how rowdy everyone got, but you're all sworn to secrecy.

Just got back home from my "one nighter" at Amelia, and brought home many truths that I never really knew.
1. ProfBB is really a funny guy.
2. Despite sometimes acting like the North end of a Southbound mule, Al IS a VERY nice guy in person.
3. Al can really play guitar!
4. Just about anyone there can play a lot better than I can.
5. Dave (Toby) actually has a serious side. (Great song Dave!!)
6. Cliff is funnier in person than he is on the board. (and a great guy too!)
7. Serge really knows his way around the JAX airport. With a combined effort, we managed to find and abscond AJ and his luggage.
...and #8....DON'T SLICE YOUR LEFT INDEX FINGER WITH A RAZOR KNIFE THE DAY BEFORE YOU GO TO AMELIA. It really makes it a challenge to play anything.
Thanks to all for putting up with me as I really didn't contribute too much, but just the one night made the 12 hours on the road worthwhile. Really a great bunch of guys!

TJ - multiply each of those by about 10 and you have the Factory Tour.

Can't wait for the next one...

(You may call me a dreamer...
but I'm not the only one...

Good point. Don't slice all 10 fingers before the factory tour.
