Hey how about this picture that I secretly took of all the guys who went to Amelia. As you can see all the guys are naked and are using their guitars to cover a strategic area!!

Ha!
Great pic.
Did you notice that Dave only needed to use a uke?

Phil, shouldn't that be tactical area, not strategic?

Strategic refers to the "what and why" and tactical refers to the "how."

Maybe it should be Tacky(where have I heard that before? Maybe on another Forum). Possibly Tact-less. Hmmm.....?

David, in this case I think "what" was covered by the uke is the primary concern. The "why" is obvious.
The "how"? We don't care, as long as it happens...

Wabbit I see that you found a new use for the Koala. Which brings up the question: Is that a Koala in your pocket or are you just happy to play for us? :D

Okay boys...(myself included)
Fun is fun but since Al "stickyed" this thread, lets get back to topic.

If the tour happens later this year will there still be enough time to submit pictures? I usually send out my photos within a week of the tour.

Probably.
Again, the idea is that "hopefully" this will get some pics coming in without the threat of a deadline.

Then... Perhaps 'zilla can get the jump on some pages.

Hence... I can slack off on the obnoxious carnival barker routine.

Therefore... the calendar can be shipped sooner.

And as a result... I won't have to go nuts making sure they get to youz guys by Christmas.

So come on folks.... look at the pics from across the pond in the current calendar and get inspired!!!

OK everybody. There have been some stunning pictures of some beautiful guitars posted lately. Some of these shots would be perfect for the calendar.

PM me or Brad if you want to mail a disc, or you can try emailing individual photos, or I have a yousendit.com account you can use to send big files.

I'd love to get some nice Hi-res versions of some of this guitar porn you guys have been posting!

I have to do some new shots as most of mine were done for web and not print. Too bad I didn't have the foresight.

No biggie.

I wanted to wait till I finally get the Tornado up here though. I'll mail CDs if that's OK.

Should we do any color correction or other edits before we send, or can the calendar committee take care of that?

Damon, I'll be happy to take care of any color correction, editing or cropping.

Looking forward to your photos!

I propose that we all send our guitars to Damon67 and let him do the photography.

D67, you'd be cool with that, right?

Don't sell yourself short Dave.
You have a good eye for photos yourself.

Except your "desert" theme is getting kinda familiar. ;)

I wanna use the same background for all the photos on my gallery. But rest assured that for the calendar you'll be getting something very unique. Trust me.

Oh oh... I can see the twinkle in Dave's eye and that little extra giddy-up in his step from way over here.

Better get your orders in early.

I hope this doesn't have anything to do with his post in the t-shirt thread...

Sorry, Brad. There were a lot of words I didn't understand. And the plot was somewhat confusing.

I'm still waiting for good weather on a weekend, when I'm not playing golf. Last weekend would have been good, but I forgot.

Kudos to OFC member PATCH!!!
He set up his guitars, took some nice pics, and is sending them via CD (because the pics where to big for e-mail), direct to Designzilla.
That's the way to do it!!!
