2ifbyC aka 'Iffy' passed the invite along to me(THANKS)
Sounds like a lot of fun, but I can't make to the Cross-Hemisphere OFC Gathering.
I've got a "club date" on the 17th and my wife and I are going to a "Fab Faux" concert in Ft. Lauderdale on the 18th.

For all those who might be interested, The Fab Faux is the best Beatle tribute band.
Comprised of bassist Will Lee, from the Paul Shaffer band on David Letterman Show, guitarist Jimmy Vivino of the Max Weinberg band on the Conan O'Brian Tonight Show, and New York musicians Rich Pagano, Frank Agnello and Jack Petruzzelli. They rarely get out of the New York area. http://www.thefabfaux.com/

Thanks, Jas. I imagine Miguel is busy gearing up for his impending departure. One week from today he'll be here for the day on his way north. I'm looking forward to it. Too bad he won't get here on a Monday, we could have done an open mic together at the local jam night venue.

I had not a chance yet to start packing. I´ve been busy this weekend with something that happened here at work, and SWMBO was in a bad mood because I left home for work on Fri and returned in the wee hours of Monday morning. Yesterday I finally went shopping for the trip.

I will pack only on Friday, it seems.

You can pack light. When you blow through Atlanta I'll loan you some of my underwear. This a standing offer to all members.

OK, I had requests to bring the '06C-Koa and the 1779-USA. So I can take one more... which one?

I've already got my request in, but if nobody else says, don't you have an Eclipse?

I'm currently cleaning and restringing the Eclipse for the trip. I won't have time to have it set up professionally, so we'll see how bad I do.

I´ll pass on the underwear, but maybe we could share a meal. According to my calculations, I´ll be in Atlanta on Wednesday, July, 8th. We could meet somewhere.

You'd be surprised, Paul. I can get cheap flights to LAX (or use some FF miles). Only snafu for September is that's the time frame when we may be going to India to finalize the adoption and bring home our new daughter, so I couldn't commit solidly.

Oh yeah, for breakfast (and even lunch)! The first and only time I had any was at your place. I had it for dessert too! My taste buds were so happy, my tongue slapped my face silly...

Hope to get in mid-morning Sat at the latest.

What's the head count so far?
