I know I'm getting old when I look in the mirror and think, "Mom"?

"Willie Nelson put it best..."

I hope to outlive Willie as well!

Recently had my Niece and her band over (under 20). I learned a lot and got to hear my guitars played like they should be! Then we played some 20 year old Third Day songs!

Yes, I have issues older than them but we shared a lot and it was good music!

It gets worse. Someday, your response might be, "Dad?"

You know when you fill out a form on line and it asks for your year of birth? You click on the box and a helpful little(?) list pops up for you to choose a year. You scroll a ways down.... then a little more.... then much more... and finally, there it is. Just a little further down than it was a year ago.

...when you find yourself in the middle of the staircase and you're not sure if you were going up or coming down.

(Courtesy of my father in law who also reminds me once in a while to just get the HELL off his lawn. And one of these days I'm going to stop mowing it for him too.)

Michelle! You can't be in your 40's. You look like your in your 20's in the picture with your O.

Thanks! I'll be 45 on August 27. The pictures on my ning site are good ones as they don't show my gray hairs!

I let my baby brother play my O today. He absolutely loved the guitar and told me that I got a great deal on it (thanks Patch)!

One song I like is called "Can't Remember to Forget". Does that make me old?
