That stuff from Stew-Mac is what Jeff used to use, but I just ordered some of the static cling stuff to try first...if that doesn't work, then the adhesive. I am sure the adhesive could be gotten off with lemon oil, but why go to the trouble if the static stuff works? |

| Pickguard removal on any guitar - including the clear stuff from StewMac - is best done with heat from a hair dryer set on low, plus some patience. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Be careful for the static cling stuff too. If it's like the plastic they put over the pickguards on new guitars, it can harm the finish when left on too long. |

Location: SW Washington | You know Starshine...as much as I love my guitar, I have to admit, Aurora is very beautiful as well. And as you correctly stated, it was playing her that got me hooked on 'O's :D
Such an amazing rich sound! If I ever make it down that way, we shall have to get a picture of the two of them together and maybe Ray's 83 too! |
