Mitz, my Adamas MERB 1598 is one of THE nicest, most beautiful guitars I have ever played, heard or seen. As Iffy would say, DAY-UM!

The biggest problem I have with playing the 1598 is that I have to stop every once in a while to pull my sox back up.

Here's mine...

Rebuilt Legend 1756

It's in the For Sale forum for a limited time, if I'm foolish enough to sell it.

I was going to post a couple pics of my 1866 (that is going to Mother as soon as I get off my butt and ship her) but I think I am a little out classed. You have some beautiful guitars out there.

Willa, for a 1158 or 1658 I'm looking for. Very nice guitar. But in Germany very, very rare.

stephen,

I used to want a 6/12 soooo bad until I learned that I have trouble with just one. But that one sure does stoke the embers.

I'm surprised it hasn't been adopted. Lovely git!

That's a lot of different 12 string O's but I didn't see any 1858's. My 1858 (in a messy backyard) looks a lot like the overseas model.

Here's one that was just born today.

Ok, actually assembled and playable today. And to it's Left is a Keller Original-ish.

Dan,

One of the knob selections is "Wild"...one of the 1966 Italian made Welson guitars.

Sounded great. A bit more sustain than a regular hole model (if that's possible). Unfortunately this photo was only the tip of ice berg. Not shown were 2 more GC models, 4 Adamas 12 strings and 3 Hurricanes. How many 12 strings can one man play? So most have been sold off. All that remains is the U681-12 (the best adamas 12 of the lot), a hurricane and an A braced rebuilt 1115. I think Bobbo might have the small hole 12 from the photo above.

Dan, that sunburst Viper is the only one I've ever seen. Really cool. I'm not sure if the EA Vipers are still in production, and if not, I don't know if the factory will still make custom orders of this model.

Dan, our babies are now on the discontinued list. I don't find the 12's anywhere on the Ovation site. My black 12 is only twice what you usually pay for the 6's and probably 1/2 of what a custom order would have cost. Maybe we should explore trading vipers.
