Ute strings are fresh... gotta figure out what other git-fiddle I wanna take and make sure those strings are fresh... and practice the "new" song to be sure it's ready for public consumption. Bob... will we be un-plugged?.. partial plugged?.. or maybe have a double stack of Hi-Watts? Lookin' forward to it. Too bad some of you others don't live a little closer. And yes... I know it's NEXT Sunday.

Thought we could get some mikes going this time. I will also have an electic or two around (hopefully we'll get guitarwannabee out). I won't have the 2080 yet, but I will have 2009 collector 30th anniversary custom legend 40th reissue balladeer 40th anniversary Glen Campbell Patriot balladeer 12 string and a cool Martin O-15 (1957) which I restored recently. This particular model was my 1st guitar

We are the second house on the left. I have a sign in the front yard. "LAFOND for U of M Board Of Regents 7055 Sax St. you can also mapquest the address. 7055 Sax St. Harsen's Island, MI 48028 It is about 20 minutes from SlipKids where we had our bitter cold Jam

Turns out they can't hold their booze which then leads to that leg hump thing. So no.... it's kennel time for Fender & Dexter. Doug, we are all supposed to have Meditation #8 down pat and ready to go. Didn't you get the memo??? Strat sounds good. Looking forward to some fuzzy distortion.

Gibson is an "American Bullador", one of them there designer breeds you can pick up for next to nothing at the Dixie Hwy flea market. Lola is a rescued boxer and both are quite active and don't have their manners mastered yet (we're working on it). Weather is looking to be nice for Sunday!

The neighbors enjoyed the sounds, and I'm rethinking the "it's a cottage on an island--we don't need air conditioning" argument. Wow, was it a hot one! Good food, great music and awesome fellowship! ~Christine (freckles)

Joined: November 2008 Posts: 1119 Location: Michigan | By the time I got there the summer jam had deteriorated to the point where Doug and Bob had were jamming away on electric guitars...but they were good! I only missed the acoustic session, the boat ride, the basic bs..ing. But, I had a great dinner and received copy of Rhoadsscholar's book. I now have all the information I need to be a great guitar player :) I was paging through it and it is both touching and informative. Thanks Bob! As a final note, I can't believe B&B only got $3 when they last went busking. I would have dropped a fiver in the case had I been walking by.
