Bottom line: I rotate what I play all the time...sure I have my favorites...and sure, there are always better/more expensive/different guitars out there...
These are just a part of the herd and does not include the electrics...
But, I really like what I have and appreciate what others own as well...
Just part of what makes this all so much fun...
Ah, nice!

Are those "file" photos or new ones that reflect the latest changes in your inventory?

I'm trying to figure out what any of those photos have to do with the subject (OFC Slothead vs NAMM 2080")...

Mike... are you sure you want to post all those pics? I'd be afraid of setting myself up for a B&E. And my humble collection is nothing like yours.

Mike, we all know that you've got a great guitar collection. You don't have to post pics of them on every thread.....

What a drag it would be to come home and find all your guitars gone except for the four Taylors still in their stands.

Sort of back on point. I think I have bronze wound 80/20s on the #47. The strings looked darker than what was on the OFC I. Both had D'Addarios. I replaced the OFC's strings, but only had phosphor bronze, which look like what was on it before. Even with new strings on the OFC and old ones on the 47, the 47 still sounds better to me. Crisper mids, primarily. I hate to change those strings because it sound so good, but when I do it should be a more valid comparison. I also wonder if the manhole cover affects the sound. The old ones were much more stiff than the one on the OFC.
Oh, and I like red better. If the OFC had been red, I probably would never have bought the 47.

only because resistance is futile with a certain guitar pimp.
Actually, SWMBO prefers blue, so the OFC is "hers", just like that was her car I was driving when I bought the 47.

The "ding bats" seem to have quit dinging, so I could probably say it. She also has a blue Honda, but her Porsche with the car top carrier holds a lot of stuff and is more fun to drive.

You won't be disappointed. The NAMM and the OFC II aren't exactly the same, but you would be hard pressed to say that the OFC II is better.

I played moddy's OFC five minutes after he collected it. Despite being blue it was a fantastic guitar. At that point it could still play more than three chords.
