The manifesto has gone down the toilet........
Brad should be ashamed of his recent behavior!

He's obviously running with a suspicious crowd. We may need an intervention.

To get back on topic (my apologies) a seven string is exactly the kind of stock guitar Adamas should be offering.
Most archtop makers offer a seven string as a simple upgrade when you order and increasingly classical guitar makers do (with a 2 1/16" neck). And it's not difficult to find 7 string flat tops.

Let's start a petition.

I don't get it. Is the 7th string just a drone, or do you actually incorporate into your chordings? And if so, how? Or is it like a 12 string where it's a different octave of the same string?

(or is it like MM's where the 7th is actually 3 strings?)

dB, dB...puh-LEEZE do some homework, wouldja? You tune the 7th string to H which, as all REAL guitar players know, goes with any chord.

Either that or you play it with your sixth finger. It's one or the other.

Sooooooo...have I set some kind of OFC record here? I've managed to take a steady razzing for my playing in TWO (count 'em TWO) simultaneous threads (this one and the "Thanks to OMA" one)!

INCLUDING at least one "tarriers" reference (at least they spelled it right!).

Do I get a prize, or IS that the prize?

Lol! Beal's like the Gandalf of this forum -- 'course a lot younger, and a lot better lookin', and plays guitar better, and has a better beard, and is taller, and pumps gas better, and, and, and...and ya DON'T pick on Gandalf!

Well said, Alan. Enough of this nonsense about picking on Beal.

Ok, everyone. Let's get back to picking on Alan.

I see him more as Sauron, evil lord of Mordor. Or maybe, on a bad day, Gollum. Definitely not the good wizard.
