Paul, as you are a qualified Private Investigator, I often found myself wondering what was your specialist area? I now realise it's "The glaringly obvious"

How might one score a badge to this exclusive NAMM thing that I swear I've never heard of until today (Personal note: I've recently joined the local chapter of the Liar's Club!) I may be in the Anaheim area on business and could drop by for an hour or two!

You need to be a NAMM member, or you need to know a NAMM member who can allocate a visitors badge to you.

Don't let it get to you, dB. They've been telling me the same thing for years. Didn't really buy it until they put up that stupid electric fence with the sniper towers but I get it now.

Even that doesn't seem to keep the Riff-Raff out.
Or, do you have to qualify as R-R to get in???

Just returned from Anaheim. Spent most of my time on the Harley, over 1K miles riding the PCH. Never made it to NAMM, but did get a solo concert gig up in Apple Valley.

We missed you. The show was great. Not too crowded this year. The weather is about perfect in Anaheim. Jukebox Joe's JT Special was the "Adamas in the Plexiglass" this year. Nice job spec'ing it out to his liking. Mick Thompson had the line wrapped around the perimeter on Friday. So did Glen Campbell on Saturday. No earthshattering news from Ovation but some nice new Adamas models you've already seen.

Yeah....lack of crowds definitely made Weds-Friday very enjoyable. Saturday got a bit busy but I was pretty much done by then having already seen or visited everyone I had on my list.

Few items to buy over the next several months but not much outlay of cash at all!

Hot tip on getting into NAMM - the TEC awards show was offering a NAMM pass if you bought a ticket to their awards show that was held at the Hilton Friday night. It was a hoot - includes a finger food buffet with a cash bar - tickets started at $60.

"Schmuck is most often used in American English as a pejorative or insult, meaning an obnoxious, contemptible person; one who is stupid, foolish, or detestable." (Wikipedia)

There's also a picture of db next to the definition...

Oh yeah, NAMM was fookin' awesome, but I'm done in.
