However wooden guitars may possess actractive phenomena. How can you resist to this one ? Or to this one...... Italian maker: Manne acoustic design

Yep, there's more chance of him becoming a gay, athiest, tranvestite democrat, and selling his aloha shirt collection, that there is him playing Taylor My exposure to Moody(PI) has not been wasted. If you notice, he is not actually 'playing' a Taylor in either picture, merely holding it. Add to that the fact that there was no audible 'ding' during his post, and the only conclusion I can come to is that Paul Moody is still, after 10000 posts, trying to attract attention to himself. ps - excellent last post, Mr. Moody! Make sure your friend (the new owner of the inferior O's) joins the OFC. We'll be looking forward to pics of him playing your 1773lx.

The 2 Taks I just picked up are almost in a class by themselves, and any others that are in that class cost 3x as much. Ovation guitars are ONE HELLUVA value. I just picked up a Custom Legend 1619 for my son at a RIDICULOUS price. That sort of workmanship and quality would have cost 10x on a Taylor. Nuthin wrong with good wood. Nuthin wrong with good wood and plastic either. If I had all the $ in the world I'd buy Somogyi guitars and blow all those silly Collings and Taylors and McPhersons away. But I don't, so I'll stick with my best bang for the buck guitars. I have a bunch of electrics too, they all sound different, and they all have their place. And they're all affordable for my budget. I'd love a Custom LP, or an Alex Lifeson Signature ES-335, but just can't swing those at the present time. Paul, your unique perspectives and comments will be missed by me at least. I would hope that your new found love of expensive wood wouldn't keep you away from the relationships that have been built here for the past 10000 posts though. Damon

If he does then plug that guitar into a live amp and have your camera ready. ;) :DI'm not sure what skeeved me out more . . . . . seeing Moody play a Taylor, or going onto that other MessageBoard . . .
